be upfront, who are you politicking for? I don't like hidden agendas. I think
the current government has done fine and has over the past few years taken the
tough stance that I have been preaching for years.

virtually nothing. Now is that just coincidence or is there something else
afoot? There is no transparency in city hall and I believe this undercurrent
of failed cooperation with MM has actually been going on for years. I have my
suspicions that it has to do with certain social issues in the eyes of
primarily Johnson and Mottola, but that's just conjecture. What is not
conjecture is the profound failure of this council, plus City Manager and
Commerce Director to move this city forward. They are in completely over
their heads trying to deal with heavyweights like iStar and MM. Tweets and
protest are a good start, but we need a new direction from city hall. This is
not working. Did anyone ever think, in their lifetime, Convention Hall would
be closed during the summer? Its time to start pointing fingers. This is a
 dire situation.

You didnt expect anything less this close to the election did you? :-)

I thought we'd hear from at least 5/6 anonymous political experts by now

1. Brian, try now FBooking em. With some class. you like them then hit them.
Did with nordstroms, got my $ back, the ladders.com got my Recurring fee,
timewarner, etc.

Companies have to really take a good look at HOW and WHY they use non-social
media like twitter, fb and all the other bs - that is actually now charging to
get your message out. IF you have a co and you post a message, it does not get
out to all your followers.

2. Let's see - so if they keep it closed, people don't come, their leaseholders
suffer and, if the leases are based on a % of sales, they hit their own
pocketbooks.

3. Do they need funding to get the minigolf cleaned up?

4. In the end, if a grant or other funding mechanism is needed to open it up
and bring people in, guess what - it probably has to be done - unless someone
has the balls to say no to a request they do need.

5. and to werner, the building may be fireproof but people aren't. And SMOKE
kills more then then flames do. And a fire is what eventually put out
Convention Hall Coffee shop some...shit almost 40 years ago. Time flies. Codes
were made stricter for places were people gather after the numerous club fires.
Intentional and unintentional.

A reason I never liked the pony - afraid of getting stuck in there. And I still
think it's scary.
