let's go back for the reason for the tennis courts -
- something like to bring the community together give the kids blah blah
- somewhere maybe 5 years ago they paid people to engineer it etc etc -
probably another million for a 100,000 or less job. Just a guess.
tennis program only appears to exist for grades 5-8 according to rec info on
city website. so I guess after 8th grade nothing exists?
I think the tennis courts should be utilized for what they were intended for
and they should be named the "Serena and Venus Williams" Tennis Courts.
and then someone can start FB pages to "save the serena and venus williams"
tennis courts in asbury park ....
as for pickle-ball - it would be a great use there. ONE tennis court = TWO
pickle-ball courts. 2-4 players or 8 players.
