Dear Mr. Hazarika,

Thanks for your interest.

.Zepellin was pioneered by the German Count Ferdinand von Zepelin.
(Ferdinand Adolf Heinrich August Graf von Zeppelin)
The company has diversified. http://www.zeppelin.de/de/start.php?js=1 .

.They have a branch in India too:

Zeppelin Systems India Pvt. Ltd.(Food Technology) , Vadodara

.Since 1993 airships have been built again in the Zeppelin town of
Friedrichshafen near the Swiss boarder.
It is about 166 kms from Munich. It is very well possible that you passed
through this town.
http://www.zeppelinflug.de .

.From there one can still take air tour and charter flights by
Zeppelin.

http://www.zeppelinflug.de/uebersicht-320.html

.Airship Ventures Inc. was founded in California in 2007. It is a
privately owned company intending to use Zeppelin NT airships in the USA for
commercial air trips and scientific purposes as well as advertising and
media campaigns. Since fall 2008, a Zeppelin NT airship has offered flights
over San Francisco.

.In Rotterdam during the summer, we can take a zeppelin tour over
Rotterdam city and the Rotterdam port.

Warm regards,

Wahid

I think the crafts were called Zepellins. I remember three years back when
we were driving to Munich, we passed by a Zeppelin factory. The driver of the
vehicle also pointed to a zeppelin in the sky.
Are they still being manufactured?

The photographs and the film was astonishing.

Over the last few months this information had done the rounds a number of
times. It is about the maiden voyage of zeppelin Hindenburg and its disaster
more than 75 year ago in 1937. This is from 1937. As this has some
historical importance, I have taken the liberty of mailing it across for
those who missed it. Sorry for unintentional cross postings. **Be sure to
click on the link in photo 22 to see the 'newsreel' film of the Hindenburg
crash.

Greetings and best wishes,
