[Assam] Don't discriminate

2014-02-21 Thread Bishwajeetsinha
Though I hailed from Bihar and in due course of all India service
liability of BSNL served for 3 years at Nagaon Assam, I'd never felt
any kind of discrimination by local people there. My work involves
field visit to Diphu under Karbi Anglong, Lumding, Jagi road, Tejpur
etc. in remotest place of Nagaon zone, but besides limited knowledge of
Assamese I'd work comfortably with mixed of Hindi, English and Bangla.

So, similar love of language of other person (its good to learn other
language, but it should not be forcefully implemented to any body) and
people of different parts of the country especially NE region is need
of the hour in Delhi and other metro places too within the country !

Re: [Assam] Assam crusader helps draft rickshaw bill

2014-02-21 Thread Babul Gogoi
Dada

are r following the racisim attacks and killings of people from Assam/NE in
Delhi and other states in mainland India?

What we are talking about planning to write a *open letter *to The head of
Thailand

to extend support students of NE
- seats for students in graduation/post graduation level
- start Thai airways (with discounted fare fro students) --
Guwahati-bangkok. (now we hv Bhutan airlines flights to ghy-Bkk @ Rs.15000
return ticket)
** Indian airlines stopped the Ghy-BKK flights long back

The idea is to throw an alternative destination for NE students/parents --
since there is very less/slow progress of infrastructure development in
this region by the govt. some private sector colleges r coming up.. but not
enough

do hv any idea on this.. suggestion.. ..
the idea is to put pressure on Indian govt for more infrastructure in this
region and safety for NE students in the mainland India
