[Assam] Don't discriminate
Though I hailed from Bihar and in due course of all India service liability of BSNL served for 3 years at Nagaon Assam, I'd never felt any kind of discrimination by local people there. My work involves field visit to Diphu under Karbi Anglong, Lumding, Jagi road, Tejpur etc. in remotest place of Nagaon zone, but besides limited knowledge of Assamese I'd work comfortably with mixed of Hindi, English and Bangla. So, similar love of language of other person (its good to learn other language, but it should not be forcefully implemented to any body) and people of different parts of the country especially NE region is need of the hour in Delhi and other metro places too within the country ! [Assam] Nagaon witnesses 'road show' at election time
As the Assam assembly election date is approaching the Nagaon citizens are waking-up with development works of present Govt. knocking at their doors at the end of almost five years long wait. The passing of each day is here witnessed by some by-lanes of this city being dugged, repaired and renovated with fresh coating of bitumen. The sleep mode of Govt. bodies now seems to be turning ON at right time when these ‘road-show’ will at-least make voters stand softer on Govt. so called neglecting attitude towards developmental work in totality. The early morning Yoga Camp of Baba Ramdev at Nehru Bali field at Nagaon on Sunday finally ends with call to fight against corruption spreaded all over the country. Besides benefitting to large gathering of crowds in the Yoga Camp, he urges to save this country by eradicting corrution at root level itself. Later, Baba Ramdev left for Delhi today to lead the ‘Padya-Yatra’ march to Rastrapati Bhawan as symbol of protest against corruption and it is part of his national program as war against envailing corrupt regime in the country everywhere.
