Hi,

I would like to know if the servers (A and B) could use boards
non-digium with the R-Series HA product from Digium, i have a couple of
B600E Sangoma to put on each server and use the R-series to provide HA.
Is that possible?

Yes. The Digium R-series failover appliances will work with any device
that uses the appropriate type of PSTN circuits (digital or analog,
depending on the R-series model), even a legacy PBX.

All of the Digium IP phones will support user-developed applications
once the SDK has been released. The D40 and D50 have the same size
screen, but it is smaller than the one on the D70. The D40 and D50 do
not have a hard 'Apps' button, but they do have an on-screen softkey for
access to applications.

Hi all,

for smaller (or maybe even bigger) sites I'm looking for a smaller,

Since it's only going to run Asterisk for a couple of extensions I don't

Does anyone have inspiration/experience for/about such a model?

thx!!

i dont remember where i have seen it but i have seen this relio
industrial Intel Atom:

http://www.sealevel.com/store/computing-hmi/industrial-computers/compact/r1420-relio-1-6ghz-intel-atom-n450-embedded-computer-2gb-ram.html

but the main thing you should ask yourself is "what do i need it for?"
if it's for just low power consumption you can get cheaper units.
if you need just small then you can get others as well..

this one is meant for a very industrial environment.

Re: [asterisk-users] British Telecom ISDN BRI line issues

2012-05-12 Thread khalid touati
My Issie is finally fixed and I can make calls, I received actually from
digium the fix, I'll try to give as much details as I can to make sure
people who find this thread understand pb and solution.

Problem: not able to dial calls using BRI from British Telecom configured
as "system access" or PTP ("standard access which is PTMP works fine) (see
above for errors thrown)
Solution: adding this line "options wctdm24xxp bri_persistentlayer1=1" to
/etc/modprobe.d/dahdi.conf and restarting asterisk and dahdi of course.
Versions used: asterisk 1.6.2.6 dahdi 2.3.0.1 libpri 1.4.10.2
Special thanks to Patrick! thanks and good luck to all!
