I do have a bunch of lines like these:
echocanceller=oslec,1-15,17-31
echocanceller=oslec,32
echocanceller=oslec,33

May the problem be that in this copy we do not have the cards installed?

Quit odd choice dahdi_cfg made if this is the case, since "service dahdi start"
installed the drivers for these same inexistent cards!

Nothing since the cards are installed inside the production system.

dahdi_echocan_oslec should be built by default. What you may miss is the
'echo.ko' (OSLEC) kernel module.

Try:

  /sbin/modinfo echo

Do you have it available?

The https://notabug.org/tzafrir/dahdi-linux-extra repository is where I
maintain a copy of DAHDI with OSLEC and from it I create the OSLEC patch
for the DAHDI package in Debian.

Thanks Josh. I spun up the latest version 13.6 (current) and added
chan_rtp.c to channels/ but it will not compile, getting a lot of
missing declaration parameters, are there any dependencies needed or
what else should I try. What version of Asterisk did you build
chan_rtp with Unicast support? Is it in Trunk or SVN testing branch?

Thanks.

It is currently only available in git master, I haven't tried throwing
it into 13 so I'm uncertain of what all would need to be changed.

[asterisk-users] Will RFC4904 ever be supported by Asterisk?

2015-10-22 Thread Juan van Rooyen
Hi all,

So I haven't been able to get TGID-based authentication to work with our
BroadSoft/BroadWorks based provider.

The reason being that the Contact Header on outgoing INVITES can't be
altered. Both chan_sip and chan_pjsip seem to use the Contact Header for
various other reasons.

So I'm wondering if this RFC is on any roadmap to be supported by Asterisk?
https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4904

The specific section is:

6.1. User Agent Client Behavior

A User Agent Client (UAC) initiating a call that uses trunk groups

and supports this specification MUST include the trunk group

parameters in the Contact header URI (a Contact URI MUST be a sip or

sips URI; thus, what appears in the Contact header is a SIP

translation of the tel URI, complete with the trunk group

   parameters).

Regards,

Juan

The echo canceller modules get loaded automatically when needed: if you
have the line 'echocanceller=foo,12' in /etc/dahdi/system.conf and run
dahdi_cfg, dahdi_cfg will attempt to configure the echo canceller 'foo'
for channel 12. The DAHDI core (kernel code) will notice it has no such
echo canceller and try to load a module caller 'dahdi_echocan_foo'.

So, what do you have in /etc/dahdi/system.conf ? What is the output of
lsdahdi?

[asterisk-users] Announcing distributed device state script

2015-10-22 Thread Maxim Litnitskiy
Hi all!
I've created a ØMQ Asterisk Manager Interface (AMI) Broker.
ØMQ broker is used to distribute Asterisk AMI messages among Asterisk
servers.
For example by using DeviceStateChange AMI event it makes all Asterisk
servers share the same device states.
We use it instead of res_xmpp and Jabber server.
It is based on res_zmq_manager module.
It's available here - https://github.com/litnimax/zmq-ami-broker/
Feel free to submit there feature requests and bugs.
Regards,
Max.

Ooopss.

I did not make myself clear.

All modules are in place and working - *if* I "modprobe" them manually.

The problem is "service dahdi start" does not load echo+dahdi_echocan_oslec.

I have a production system that does it. I just do not know how.

After copying this system to another machine and upgrade it (apt-get
dist-upgrade), echo+dahdi_echocan_oslec does not get inserted anymore and I am
wondering why.

I intend to upgrade the production system tomorrow night and this "bug" is
haunting me.

Ethy
