Re: [Asterisk-Users] Another Asterisk Certification

2004-12-22 Thread Clint Guillot
But wait, that's not all! I, too, have a laser printer!
If you send me $50, I'll fire you off a certificate too!
You can be a Certified Asterisk Certification Certificate Buyer!
Enough. It is what it is. Don't like it? Don't pay for it.
Think it's a joke? Sure, but it's the same sick joke visited
upon us time and time again by the illustrious HR and Vendor
Services departments of corporate America.
Let's take this to another list (perhaps [EMAIL PROTECTED] :) )
and get on with fixing our little Asterisk problems.

No disrespect here but... YOU HAVE GOT TO BE SHITTING ME!!!
This is a joke right? I has to be. :P
For those of you who can't (or won't) shell-out the $3000+ for the 5
day
certification class,
here's a quicker way AND IT'S HALF THE MONEY!

Still working just fine. It has worked for many months.
As this is my first go at it, and there is little current-sounding
information available at the usual sources, I figured I'd ask (the wiki
at voip-info still says unsupported, ferinstance.)

Any ideas on why the T1 cards won't come out of red alarm, but work
fine on the same machine booted to 2.4?

[Asterisk-Users] Status of linux 2.6 support

2004-12-03 Thread Clint Guillot
I'm sure that this question gets asked frequently, but a quick perusal
of the list archives shows that it hasn't been asked in a least a month
or so, so pardon any repetition.

What is the current state of asterisk on linux 2.6?
I ask, because I spent yesterday giving it a whirl, and everything
seems to go just fine till the very last minute.
Zaptel, libpri and asterisk compile just fine.
The drivers load, ztcfg runs, all seems well - asterisk even runs just
fine.
But while the freshmaker boards run fine, the te405 boards refuse to
come out of red alarm.

So my question: is my time wasted or should 2.6 support be working, and
I've just got a problem that I need to fix?

Thanx
