[Asterisk-Users] restricting access to outside calls
When you call my system your call is handled by the auto attendant. It works fine with one little problem. In addition to being able to dial any extension during the announcement, you can dial a telephone number. The system will bridge the Zap channel I call in on with another Zap channel and dial the number. This allows anyone in the world to make calls to anywhere in the world via my system. While this is fine for extensions logged into my system. It is not good to allow unknown users to make calls via my system. How can I restrict access to connected users only? Thanks for putting up with a post from a newbie. -Ed ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
Re: [Asterisk-Users] bad quality for toll free calls with gafachi
I experienced bad voice quality for toll free calls with gafachi. All other long distance calls are ok. Does anyone have this problem too? We are having the same problem. None of our toll free calls were completed. I called them today to see if this was a system wide problem or if I had broken one of my config files. I was told I was the only one having the problem. I was also asked to send e-mail with a description of the problem if I wanted them to correct the problem. I notice there are times when I can make a call using their service where I can hear the person on the other end of the connection but they can not hear me. If I restart asterisk, the problem goes away. I do not have this problem with other IAX2 connections. -Ed ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
[asterisk-users] Polycom 330 not dialing 4 digit extensions beginning with 11xx
I have four Polycom 330 phones connected to an asterisk system. There are other VoIP phones connected too. All of the extensions are four digits beginning with 11. From any of the phones, except the Polycom, picking up the handset to call extension 1103 for example works fine. With the Polycom 330, as I press the second 1 of 1103 it stops taking input and gives me an error. I tried creating four digit extensions on another asterisk system where I have Polycom 501 phones connected and they too will not let me dial 1103. I can dial 1203 or any other combinations of number, just not an extension that begins with 11. Any suggestions? -Ed ___ -- Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com -- asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
