[asterisk-users] Voicemail for an AT&T System 75
Does anyone know if Asterisk can be used to provide voicemail (500-800 mailboxes) for a AT&T System 75, Definity G-3? I was approached about this lately, and really know little about the AT&T hardware. Any opinions would be appreciated! ___ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users

We had 2 of 3 SCSI drives fail in a RAID a couple of weeks ago - its hard to explain that to a customer! -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of cb Sent: Thursday, March 15, 2007 12:00 AM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: Re: [asterisk-users] voip-info.org status update On Mar 15, 2007, at 12:32 AM, shadowym wrote: > Hard to expect the business community to take Asterisk seriously > when this sort of stuff happens IMHO. It is drifting off topic, but if all the drives in the array where bought from the same batch, and it was a bad batch, they could all fail at about the same time. I've seen it happen in non-raid drives, I had a batch of drives all bought at the same time, that all went bad within about a week of each other. Each was in a different PC so they had slightly different up times and usage. I could see if those drives had been in a RAID array and were being stressed equally, they may have all failed within hours or even minutes of each other. -chris ___ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users ___ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
RE: [asterisk-users] ftp server
Title: Message Yes, we don't have the proper skillset, either. Even though we are a reseller. We have standardized on Linux appliances called Snapgear . Of course, they are not integrated into Active directory, so there are lots of things that are harder to do. However, since they are not Microsoft or Cisco based, they are not the targets of many of the severe attacks on the Internet. We also have problems with installing all the security updates on the scores of Small Business Customers we have - they don't want to pay us for installing these updates - much less, paying us when a security update has side effects on their internal network. So, avoiding the whole Microsoft issue is a decent compromise in our situation. -Original Message-From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dean CollinsSent: Sunday, October 08, 2006 1:16 PMTo: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial DiscussionSubject: RE: [asterisk-users] ftp server Unfortunately I disagree with you about ISA, whilst it may cause problems through my lack of skillset from time to time the functionality it introduces and protects my network cant be beat at any price, being built into sbs 2003 is just a bonus. [asterisk-users] Setting system time via Asterisk
Looking at a Asterisk server which will not be attached to the Internet - and the user will be pretty computer illiterate. Has anyone seen a script or some mechanism to set the server time by using an extension, and entering the date/time via the keypad? RE: [Asterisk-Users] TDM400 FXO port 1 only problem.
I had the same problem - I swapped modules, and the problem stayed with channel 1. I got a replacement from my distributor, but it had the same problem. I ended up getting a board directly from Digium - that solved the problem. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Tom Vile Sent: Tuesday, November 22, 2005 6:31 PM To: Rich Adamson Cc: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] TDM400 FXO port 1 only problem. The problem is not the module though its on the port its plugged into. I can move the module to another port and it works fine, so I was thinking it is the board. RE: [Asterisk-Users] TDM400 FXO vs FXS Interrupt performance
"Brand new " cards, from a recommended Digium distributor. I spoke with Digium and the distributor tech support on it - gave them serial numbers, board rev numbers, etc. No one mentioned this. Do you know what the current version of the board is? RE: [Asterisk-Users] TDM400 FXO vs FXS Interrupt performance
I have popping with FSO modules only on channel 1 - the other 3 channels are clear. Moved slots, there are no shared interrupts, replaced the TDM400 card and all modules - still the same result. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dustin Goodwin Sent: Saturday, November 05, 2005 4:01 PM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: [Asterisk-Users] TDM400 FXO vs FXS Interrupt performance I have read a lot online about interrupt related cracking/popping noise issues on Digium cards. The weird thing is I experience it with the FXO port on my TDM card but not on the FXS. Does this make any sense? I had assumed an interrupt problem. But if the FXS port is working why would the FXO port be having a problem? - Dustin - ___ --Bandwidth and Colocation sponsored by Easynews.com -- Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users ___ --Bandwidth and Colocation sponsored by Easynews.com -- Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
[Asterisk-Users] ztmonitor usage
I am trying to get ztmonitor to record a channel for me. I issue the ./ztmonitor 1 -v -f channel1.rawcommand, And the channel1.raw file is created, but when I exit the program (control-c), the size of the *.raw file is 0 bytes. The program does update the screen with the "VU Meter" interface, though. What am I doing wrong?
