[asterisk-users] LUSYN patches

2007-01-07 Thread Marc McLaughlin
Hello all,

New versions of the history buffer patches for v1.4 of Asterisk and
Zaptel are now available at
www.lusyn.com/resources/asterisk/usehist.htm. The patches for v1.2 will
remain available for a few months.

The ring begin patches are now obsolete, as the history buffer patches
can be used as a workaround.

Rgds,

Marc

[Asterisk-Users] Caller ID patches - updated

2006-02-01 Thread Marc McLaughlin \(LUSYN\)
Hello all,

The Caller ID patches have been updated to work with X100P and TDM400P
cards. There is also a patch that should fix distinctive ring on TDM400P
cards when using polarity reversal check for Caller ID. It may be required
for the history buffer method too.

http://www.lusyn.com/resources/asterisk/index.htm contains links to the
pages describing the patches, including details on how to apply them.

Thanks go to Ian Plain of cyber-cottage.co.uk for donating a TDM card.
Without it I would not have been able to work on these patches.

If any of you are interested in helping me continue to provide these
patches, clink on the "Support" link in the footer of any page on
www.lusyn.com.

Thanks,

Marc

RE: [Asterisk-Users] UK CID patch and version 1.0 CVS build

2004-11-09 Thread Marc McLaughlin (LUSYN)
Title: Message

Hi
James,

Which
patch did you use?  There are four that I know of :

1)
Tony Hoyle's original at www.domain.org/asterisk.  Doesn't
work with v1 of Asterisk
2)
dant's which I believe is now part of 1.0 CVS, so not
required
3)
cursorsoftware's patch, which I haven't seen and cannot comment
on
4) My
updated version of Ton'y patch, available from www.lusyn.com/patches/asterisk.html

If you
used mine, did you specifially checkout v1-0?  ie "cvs checkout -r v1-0
asterisk libpri zapata".  Also, have you removed all the modules (backup
first!) from /usr/lib/asterisk/modules/ and installed the recompiled
versions?

Rgds,

Marc

UK CID patch and version 1.0 CVS build
  Hi
  there,

  Not seen this
error message before has anybody else, my perfectly working asterisk system
(albeit no caller ID) has now stuffed up I was on the CVS head as of about a
week ago but installed a UK caller ID patch so that I can get caller ID (no
problems appeared to patch perfectly with no errors) after recompiling
asterisk libpri and zaptel I now get the following error at the console and
then it bombs out Any ideas ??? I wish Mark and company would just
incorporate this in to Zaptel its a pain in the A** to us UK
  users.

[Asterisk-Users] UK BT Caller ID, X100P and Asterisk v1

Hi
all,

Modified
versions of Tony Hoyle's UK BT Caller ID patches are available from www.lusyn.com/asterisk/patches.html.
I have signed a Digium disclaimer and have no copyright interest in this work,
hence why they have been made available for free under
the GPL.

They are
currently reported as working for 3 (yes 3!) Asterisk users without any
problems.
