[Asterisk-Users] small Local telco (wifi voip) some experiences with * ??
Hello. I would like to know if somebody did a wireles voip with Asterisk PBX. I think to deploy a wireless for about 500 potential customers, it's a 3 km radius maximum coverage with houses without phone lines, I work for public places telephony small enterprises ( a common bussines in Spain) so I can get good rates from 4 telcos and do LCR at my asterisk PBX. Is anybody did this before thanks ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
[Asterisk-Users] Is there a way to find free zap channels on remote servers ??
Hello: I would like to know if there's a way to request free chanels from remote asterisk servers ? My idea is to make an agi returning a dial to inter-asterisk connected servers when there's not enought chanels on local server, maybe like a ping to all of them or maybe requesting to a central server where all the *s send and request information about available chanels each 2 or 3 seconds, it has not about dial plans because I make LCR first and I have a flat rate for national calls, It is about using less analog lines with constant costs every month. Maybe Asterisk has internals for manage this situation (like virtual group of different asterisks chanels) But I would like to be sure 90% that a free chanel is going to be available when I dial to another asterisk and not to have calls rounding over Internet. Thanks for your comments. [Asterisk-Users] call routing on free trunk ??
Hello: I would like to know if it's possible to route a call based on a free trunk. Let's say we got 5 o 6 locations with 4 analog lines and asterisk and Digium hardware on each. We got 10 sip phones ( or IAX ) on each location. We got an sdsl 400 Kbps with the same Internet provider, with good perfomance on their own network. We have done all the IP QOS stuff (we got internet cafe too) And when the user dial a number we do an LCR preasignation (adding 1050 e.g. in front of the string dialed) depending on prefix (LCDial e.g.). At this moment how can I route the call to a free analog on a remote asterisk line if I got the 4 full lines at this location ?? Is it by dialplan ?? Do I need to register all trunks on all servers or can I do centralized ?? If the call is transfered. where will be the CDRs produced ?? [Asterisk-Users] usb phones in linux, any??
Hello: I would like to know if anybody has test various usb phones with an usb hub conected to an asterisk server. The idea is to build a public telephony site with one or 2 analog cards 4 or 8 FXO, least cost routing and billing and usb handsets with dialpad for users, so I really don't need a graphical interface for the soft phone ( the users just dial from dialpad). Any has done this before... thanks ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
