[Asterisk-Users] IAX channels do not disconnect
Hey I'm experiencing this strange thing. My setup is : PSTN => Asterisk =IAX=> Asterisk => PSTN The thing is when I dial from the PSTN to the asterisk server and the latter has called the PSTN number on the other asterisk server, even if I hangup both the phnes on the PSTN, the ASterisk servers still are talking to each other over IAX. The IAX channel is not hanging up when a PSTN phone hangs up! [Asterisk-Users] answered time

[Asterisk-Users] Billing
Hey I want to implement billing in Asterisk for a calling card type application. My scenario is like this: PSTN => Asterisk =(IAX)=> Asterisk => PSTN. I used the ${ANSWEREDTIME} and ${DIALEDTIME} variables but ${ANSWEREDTIME} always gives a value even if the call is not answered. e.g. If I dial on a Zap Channel, Zap answers the call the moment the channel starts ringing. So I get an answeredtime even if there has only been ringing. Has anyone encountered this before? [Asterisk-Users] /dev/zap not created
I installed asterisk on Fedora Core 2 kernel 2.6.5. I followed the standard procedure. zaptel-libpri-asterisk. The thing is that I constantly get the error message: line 4: Unable to open master device '/dev/zap/ctl' where the file zaptel.conf contains only 4 files: fxoks=1 fxsks=4 defaultzone=us loadzone=us I cant run asterisk and get a load of error messages. When I tried to check the directory /dev/zap, it wasnt there. It isnt created during installation. Can someone help me out. Apart from that, should I get a dialtone in the fxs module when the tdm400p is connected in the computer? because I have no way of checking whether my device is correctly connected. ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
[Asterisk-Users] (no subject)
I want to attach two SIP phones to an asterisk server. The SIP phone I'm using is the software xlite for windows. The university LAN has a firewall and xlite says that a blocked firewall was detected. How can I get around this because they are not going to unblock UDP 5060 for me.
