[asterisk-users] Debian asterisk-bristuff
I apologise now if I have managed to completely misunderstand this whole subject! I've built a small PC and loaded Etch 4.0 from the netinst cd. I did 'apt-get install asterisk-bristuff' which seemed to work but, it doesn't seem to have installed any files/modules for zaptel? ztcfg zaptel zaphfc I am using a billion hfc card Any pointers? -- Simon Faulkner 01538 303 900 Staffordshire Moorlands ___ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users

Re: [Asterisk-Users] Configs for Gradwell and inWeb
Robert P. McKenzie wrote: Does anyone here use either Gradewell or inWeb for service? They are both UK based. I'm trying to get a couple of inbound IAX2 based numbers from both of them to work with no luck at all. The one thing that sets these guys apart from the rest of companies offering inbound numbers is they tie the account to the IP of the asterisk server. Neither use register lines in iax.conf, there appears to be an authentication isse. The only support Gradwell offer is for users of AAH, this is a raw Asterisk install I'm working with and their AAH examples don't work. Gradwell did work fine in the AAH test system. If anyone has any working configs could you let me see them? (on or offlist is fine). Thanks in advance. I use them and love the service. All I did was insert their standard code that they emailed when I bought the account: In the relevant part of your Asterisk iax.conf insert the following lines: [gradwell] type=user username=gradwell secret=mysecret context=gradwell-in host=dynamic Additionally, in your extensions.conf, insert these lines: [gradwell-in] exten = 441782123456,1,Dial(SIP/201) Outbound: exten = _0.,1,SetCallerID(YOUR_NUMBER) exten = _0.,2,Dial(IAX2/myacct:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/${EXTEN}) Simon ___ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- Asterisk-Users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
[Asterisk-Users] Call Monitor
Does anyone know of a web based live call monitor for *? I would have thought this was an ideal application for Ajax? [Asterisk-Users] ISDN 2e Cards
I have tried Billion HFC-PCI and Eicon Diva cards for ISDN 2e in the UK but both seem to have drawbacks/advantages. I need to build a new Asterisk box for my tiny business (1 x ISDN2e from BT and 1 x IAX link from Gradwell) Is anyone prepared to go out on a limb and say which card they prefer and why? [Asterisk-Users] BT - DSS
Has anyone used BT's DSS services? http://www.bt.com/isdn/isdn2e/extra/dss.htm I have an ISDN 2e comming into my Asterisk and would like to deflect calls when I am busy (or I can't get my HFC-PCI card to run correctly LOL) to my PSTN-IAX VOIP number if the Asterisk doesn't answer. [Asterisk-Users] Fax
Hi All, My asterisk system is running well but I can't send or receive faxes. I have an analogue fax plugged into a TDM400 connected to my ISDN 2e via an Eicon Diva. I am using G711.U - do I stand a chance of faxing or should I be doing it differently?
