I am having the exact same issue... unfortunately they seem to be the
only people on the planet that offers a DID in my local calling
area not that it matters because I can't seem to use it about 50%
of the time.

Frustrated,

should != must - it is not illegal.

True. However, RFC's are in place to make sure we all play by the same
rules. If we all play by the same rules things on the internet tend to
work as expected. I like things to work as expected, don't you?

The reason most people (myself included) block mail that come from
dynamic IP's is the fact that the majority of email that originates
from them is spam. Not all mind you but most.

I wonder if there is an RFC from top posting? I doubt it... seems the
rest of the world can get along fine reading top posts...

I am just glad everyone doesn't have that attitude about RFCs.

That is *precisely* why the RFC is worded should -- it is optional. If the
RFC said must then it is required. RFCs are worded very carefully as a
 general rule.

[Asterisk-Users] Asterisk@Home Forum Suggestions

2005-06-04 Thread Tracy Phillips
Hi,

I have created a new forum for [EMAIL PROTECTED] users (I guess it could
be used by any asterisk users). I am looking for suggestions on forum
categories. If you have any, I would greatly appreciate your input. I
have some already setup but I am not so sure of how logical the
categories are.

You can view what is already in place at http://www.asteriskathome.org.

As you can see, the forum descriptions are a bit sparse as well, so
suggestions there would be welcome.

Thanks for your help and have a great day!
