to my relatively untrained eye, the sip debug log looks good [3], except that there is a lot more message traffic as compared to when only the xlite client is connected; i was able to moderate the behavior slightly by altering the "register expires" parameter based on a suggestion from a voxilla forum thread [4], but the problem still persists. the only other circumstantial evidence that i have is that asterisk keeps telling me that the Line 1 peer becomes unavailable and available over and over again [5], which seems to be associated with the run-up on open RTP ports.
again - apologies if this is off topic, but i'm pretty much at wits end with this.
