[asterisk-users] Festival issues

2008-07-10 Thread Balu Raman
I have used this [EMAIL PROTECTED] for a while now, 2 years.
Only recently, I am trying Festival and on invoking festival --server I get
these errors :

/usr/share/festival/bin/festival: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5: version
`CXXABI_1.2' not found (required by /usr/share/festival/bin/festival)
/usr/share/festival/bin/festival: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5: version
`GLIBCPP_3.2' not found (required by /usr/share/festival/bin/festival)

I have libstdc++.so.6 on the system and symbolically linking did not fix it
either.
The festival package is asteriskathome-festival-1.96.zip.

Thanks for your help.

[Asterisk-Users] Festival issues

2006-01-02 Thread Andrew Nowrot
Hi,I'm trying to set up asterisk 1,2 with Festival and everything works fine until I install additional languages. When I dial appropriate extension I get something like this:Jan 2 10:43:06 WARNING[836]: app_festival.c:484 festival_exec: Festival returned LP : cstr_pl_em_diphone
Does anyone know what to do?I checked the app_festival.c. What does Festival returned LP /* receive an s-expr */ mean?CheersAndrew

[Asterisk-Users] Festival Issues

2004-08-19 Thread Darryl Ross
Hey All,
I now have Festival compiled, installed and running using the instructions on the Wiki
page.
When I try to change the voice that is being used however, I am running into a problem. I get
the following in the festival server log:

Cannot open file /tmp/est_10877_0/utt.wav as tokenstream
Wave load: can't open file /tmp/est_10877_0/utt.wav
Cannot load wavefile: /tmp/est_10877_0/utt.wav
When I look in the /tmp/est_10877_0 folder, while the sound file is still playing according
to Asterisk, the following seems to be created:

total 56
drwxr-xr-x2 darryl users4096 Aug 19 16:28 .
drwxr-xr-x 29 root root 4096 Aug 19 16:28 ..
-rw-r--r--1 darryl users 0 Aug 19 16:28 tmp.f0
-rw-r--r--1 darryl users 22365 Aug 19 16:28 tmp.lab
-rw-r--r--1 darryl users 0 Aug 19 16:28 tmp.mcep
-rw-r--r--1 darryl users 0 Aug 19 16:28 tmp.raw
-rw-r--r--1 darryl users 23411 Aug 19 16:28 utt.feats
I've tried setting a number of different voices. Some don't give any audio and some only seem
to give a small 'blip' of sound.

Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Darryl
