You may have the same problem I have which is that the MOH is very very quiet you need to be in a noise free environemt to hear it! I can't find an option to increase the volume ? Well, I've made progress. As suggested I've just tried it without X running and the errors have gone. No when I call the extension no errors, but nothing is played Very odd.. Any ideas?
