Hi all: I've just purchase some licences of G.729 codecs, and I like to bring up * using /etc/rc.d/init.d script. Does anyone knows how to start in the "old" way? Thanks in advance, Gus

I'm not sure what old way you're thinking of. There is, however, an init script diff to safe_asterisk in the bugtracker. I just updated it with my latest changes. look in the asterisk for a directory called redhat. There is a startup script in there. In our case we use the provided script called "init.asterisk" and place it in /etc/init.d Then we start it by executing "service init.asterisk start".
