Re: [Asterisk-Users] To write Sphinx Interface in EAGI or app_xxx.c?

2006-01-02 Thread Robert La Ferla
You must have seen this page but maybe not because the site was down for
a while recently:

http://turnkey-solution.com/asterisk-sphinx.html

I am also interested in getting Sphinx to work with Asterisk. Please
report anything you find. I know that there are a few different
versions of Sphinx (v2, v3, v4) so I'm curious what versions work with
*. Sphinx 4 sounds like it is not only the best performer (in terms of
accuracy and speed) but

also it's in Java so it's easier to modify. Does Sphinx 4 work with *?

[Asterisk-Users] To write Sphinx Interface in EAGI or app_xxx.c?

2005-12-19 Thread L

Hi list,

After search thru goggle and voip-info, i discover sphinx is unpopular
among asterisk community. Simply because there is no much information
contributed :( I imply there wont be much respond for this mail :sad:

I tried to use Sphinx2 for my testbed project, but i hv some
segmentation error during start up time (must be missing
component/configuration??). Hence, my other choice is Sphinx4.

Did anyone manage to get *(1.2.x) <-> Sphinx(4-x) integrated?

If yes, the interface you are using is eagi or app_xxx?
I m trying to write a demo auto-attendant voice recognition.

(Newbie) I have go thru the code and understand abit.
EAGI vs app_xxx
-> Standalone Program - Module
-> IVR friendly for custom flow - IVR General Flow (Comedian VoiceMail)
-> Both support channel
-> 2sample code - A lots of sample code!!!
-> commercial prefer - open source (but someone wrote libisup under
channel lib for $$$)

If I choose to write in EAGI(simply becoz eagi-sphinx-test), where
should I look for more information regarding EAGI. I prefer apps_xxx.
