This message was added around 1.4.23 to let you know that you're violating
the AGI protocol. Read up on the AGI protocol then check through your AGI
file to see what you're missing. Usually it's not reading something that
asterisk is sending back to your script, or not sending a response that
asterisk is expecting. Everything else typically will still do what you
want, but technically you're violating the protocol.

I don't use EAGI, and coming from file.c may indicate otherwise, but
"broken pipe" messages and AGI may mean you are violating the AGI
protocol. Enabling AGI debugging and watching the console output may give
you a clue.

EAGI implies you are doing something with the incoming audio on FD 3. Any

[asterisk-users] WARNING message when calls get into a queue with realtime members (Local channel)

2008-11-04 Thread Daniel - Asterisk
Hi,

I'm using queue configuration as follows:

   - queues from* queues.conf*
   - queue_members from *external Database thru ODBC*, using* Local channels
   * as interface
   - sip extensions from *external Database thru ODBC*

When a call is sent from queue to an interface (local channel), it is
answered but a message appears at the CLI:

*[Nov 4 16:56:04] WARNING[13951]: app_queue.c:3014 try_calling: The device
state of this queue member, Ag-Daniel, is still 'Not in Use' when it
probably should not be! Please check UPGRADE.txt for correct configuration
settings.
*

The interface value for agent *Ag-Daniel* is:
*Local/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/n*and final interface is
*SIP/7070*
I have checked the UPGRADE.txt file and set *limitonpeer=yes *at sip.conf
and every sip_buddie has *call-limit=2 *and *type=friend *but problem
persists.

My asterisk version is: 1.4.21.1

Calls are entering well now, but what when load increases high?

Does anyone know what can I do to avoid this WARNINGS and future issues?

Thanks again,

Daniel Arohuanca

/SNIP/

This message typically represents a NAT Issue, where in the SIP
Client(SNOM 220) and Asterisk(Server) are not able to recognize each
other's IPs to transmit packets successfully during the initial
handshake.

Using a STUN Server in the SNOM configuration would solve the problem
and establish the call.

I guess you are using DHCP on your network and the SNOM gets the IP from
the Router in the Local Address ranges like 192.168.1.X or some such NAT
IP. This Address being not a Public IP Address, you need to enable
Network Address Translation with a Port Mapping for your Local IP

Hi list,
I have t100p hooked to a nortel system that controls our office. I also have a
tdm40 with two fxs modules that I have adsi phones connected to. I can dial from
my office phone to the adsi phone and it works but I get the following message
and can't figure out what it means. ( I can also dial from the asdi phone to my
office extension ).

Oct 21 16:06:10 WARNING[-1313023056]: chan_zap.c:7535 pri_dchannel: Ring

Any enlightment would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

Buy a new soundcard :-) . Lol, seriously though, it looks like your card
won't generate a 8000hz rate. 7999 is as close as it gets. If you're not
using chan_alsa.so, don't worry about it. Otherwise, not a lot that you
can do. Try updating your sound driver :-)

P.S. When you're starting a new message thread, don't hit reply on an
existing message. Send a new one, it breaks threading if you don't.

[Asterisk-Users] WARNING message - ALSA

2004-07-28 Thread Jozeph Brasil
Title: Trouble compiling asterisk-addons MySQL

Hello all,

I receive a warning message every time I start my
Asterisk.

Rate not correct, requested 8000, got 7999

I see in the source and FOUND where is
gerating this warning message.

  if (rate != DESIRED_RATE) {  ast_log(LOG_WARNING, "Rate not correct, requested %d, got %d\n", DESIRED_RATE, rate);  }

 Anyone know HOW TO FIX
this problem?

Re: [Asterisk-Dev] SPAM MESSAGE - [Asterisk-Users] warning message (sound card) - when I run asterisk!!!

2004-05-26 Thread Mamadou Lamine KA

Hi Neo,

Your sound card is not well configured. Try to find
the right driver and load the correct module for it. ALSA (www.alsa-project.org/)
may help for this.

Hope this can help

Asterisk is up and working with Cisco SIP phones and a Cisco SIP
gateway. MOH works. Inbound/outbound calling works. This occurs even
with no calls active.

I just can't figure out where this message comes from or how to get
additional detail. Built with CVS from about a week ago.

Thanx to anyone who can shed some light on this.
