Hi, Check if your system has the /dev/files needed. I think some installation didn't do it automatically. Did you install it before you compiled Asterisk? It has to be there before you run the ./configure for asterisk. There are different ways to get the timer to work, but it won't work by default if you haven't got a Digium Zaptel hardware interface card installed. At this time only zaptel devices may be used.
