As Mark has pointed out a couple of times in the last 24 hours, the iaxtel.com server has been up/down due to a couple of problems that he believes are now fixed. As someone previously pointed out, telnet'ing to a udp port (as shown above) will never work. For those that aren't sure how to change their * server to use iax v2, one method is to look at your extensions.conf file for: exten => 500,2,Dial(IAX2/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/[EMAIL PROTECTED]) ^ and ensure "IAX2" is specified.
