That's an excellent suggestion, I agree with Ray. Masakazu, do you think
you could provide a working sample either here on the list or in the

yeah. surely ok. but please just a moment to disclose my code.
because that is very evalution code at now. bit buggy ;-)

I think AMP + ming + actionscript + * + ecasound + xoops makes us good
CRM ( one of anti-claimer ) enviroment.
http://www.wakkanet.fi/~kaiv/ecasound

the interface of voice by asterisk.
and translate to mp3 by ecasound.
and play that realtime stream by ming.

Ok, wounderful - I am *very* curious about this! No need to present
things in a perfect shape though, we all know perfection is a function of
time...

By the way: I installed ming two days ago and got the php module (so
didn't compile ming support into PHP), but apparently I am not able to
use Flash 6 code that way, only 4 and 5). Did I maybe get the wrong php
module? I found http://www16.brinkster.com/gazb/ming/ to have interesting
samples, especially the dynbarchart one.

Cool. I like the Ming thing. Also works with Perl (many Perl examples
available). And has an XML event interface for two way communications with
a server. Certainly is way much less overhead than the Java thing I was
contemplating.

I found JAIN at https://sip-communicator.dev.java.net/ but have not

The NIST JAIN implementation is quite mature, and the soft-phone demo
app that it used to ship with has now been farmed off into the separate
project that you mention above. It's good for debugging (you can get all
the SDP headers and things out), but it's not a terribly good bit of
software UI/features-wise. In particular, IIRC it lacks the ability to
send DTMF.

Useful, but it requires a signed client with permissions to install a DLL.

Once you are able to do that, you can do anything -- install a full
softphone, send the voice to any destination (not just back to the
server) -- and of course take over the other person's machine so they
should be very wary of approving the client.

What would be more useful is an applet that can run as a pure
applet. That's forced to only talk to the server that served
it, but it doesn't need approval.

Or, in theory the voip client going into the new flashplayer.

Re: [asterisk-users] Java Asterisk Event Message

Yes, there seems to be no support for the Localbridge event. You need to derive
a class like

public class LocalbridgeEvent extends LinkageEvent

and add whatever is necessary. You probably have to add more classes like this to take care of
the recent changes of the AMI interface. Maybe you can get away by duplicating the classes for
the Link and Unlink events and give them proper names.
