There are listen-only and talk-only options to the MeetMe application. -- Russell Bryant Software Engineer Digium, Inc. ___ Sign up now for AstriCon 2007! I don't get it. What good is a conference if nobody can hear each other? Is this to spy on offices and other locations with phones or something? Thanks, Steve ___ Sign up now for AstriCon 2007! One such use is to enable agents who spend most of the day repeating themselves to help more than one person at a time. It's like a Queue, where the MOH is the current conversation (but only the agent being heard). Usually this enables people waiting in Queue to hear a possible solution to their problem and they drop off the Queue, with a solution in hand. This saves time with the Agent and it also saves time with some callers, as they get the appropriate solution without having to wait for their turn to talk to the Agent. I haven't seen this solution in use on the telephone, but I have seen the technique used with online chat, and it is very effective. -- Tilghman ___ Sign up now for AstriCon 2007! Dovid this can be done, with a kludge of a mix of MeetMe and ChanSpy applications tied together with agi scripts and Local channels. I cannot even begin to think about stability or scalability. It might be simpler to have the person record the message then attach it to an extension. The audience calls the number/extension and listens to the broadcast. -- Chris Mason Anguilla: (264) 497-5670 Fax: (264) 497-8463 Cell: 264-235-5670 International: (305) 704-7249 Fax: (815)301-9759 Yahoo IM only: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. ___ Sign up now for AstriCon 2007!
