Re: [Astlinux-users] sangoma_UT50
Miguel, No, that dongle requires a separate voicetime driver. AstLinux includes the wanpipe drivers. Additionally it requires DAHDI 2.5.x or older, not the newer DAHDI 2.6.x AstLinux includes. Out of curiosity, what problem are you trying to solve with the Sangoma UT50 ? Lonnie On Jun 12, 2013, at 3:42 AM, Miguel Angel wrote: Hi, is posible to install Sangoma UT50 on astlinux 1.1.1? Re: [Astlinux-users] Asterisk 11
Michael, Asterisk 11 has been stable. I believe there are some benefits to using Asterisk 11 if you are using XMPP. As always, check the Asterisk upgrade.txt file when switching between versions. We've been using Asterisk 11 for well over a month at our office with no issues. I am especially interested in the Jabber integration now that we have XMPP in Astlinux. I realise there are a few caveats and I may need to change some of my dial plan. Im not using Macros and have made the switch to subroutines! Some feedback would be great. Re: [Astlinux-users] sangoma_UT50
Miguel, I'm quite sure the ut50 won't help you. And to answer your question, there is no Sangoma voicetime driver support in our build system, so it can't easily be tried. The ut50 is more for large meetme timing and such, and DAHDI 2.6.x probably eliminates the need for it as well. Your issues can be caused by a lot of things, I would first look at the hardware AstLinux is running on, if it is a dual-core Atom box (or similar) then the issue is probably elsewhere, but if it is single-core lower end Alix box for example, then running OpenVPN and transcoding calls could effect call quality. [Astlinux-users] Astlinux Users Vitelity Provider
Any of you using Vitelity as their VoIP provider? I know this is not an Astlinux issue. Lonnie I know you use Vitelity. What is you configuration? Any guidance please? My voice quality on Vitelity is going downhill, very gorgly and jittery. What codec will Vitelity support to give the best voice quality? What codec do you use in your configuration? Any other configuration consideration to improve voice quality? I have decent bandwidth and latency from my Comcast ISP. Cheers and always appreciated Ionel Chila-- This SF.net email is sponsored by Windows: Build for Windows Store. http://p.sf.net/sfu/windows-dev2dev___ Astlinux-users mailing list Astlinux-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/astlinux-users Donations to support AstLinux are graciously accepted via PayPal to pay...@krisk.org.
Re: [Astlinux-users] Astlinux Users Vitelity Provider
We've seen issues with Comcast more so than Vitelity. We have several clients using Vitelity without issue. We use ulaw exclusively. You might want to open a ticket. They've been helpful when we've had issues, most of which have been routing between providers. Darrick Sent from my mobile device.
