[ath5k-devel] Bit rate selection algorithms

2013-03-22 Thread Colleen Josephson
Which bit rate selection protocols are available in the ath5k driver? How
does this compare to what's available in the madwifi and the ath9k drivers?

I am trying to set up an experiment to measure the performance of the
various bit rate selection algorithms available (for academic purposes),
and this information would be very helpful.

Many thanks,

I think it uses minstrel.

It likely can use whatever other rate control modules appear in
mac80211, but I don't know if any have shown up that get used.

madwifi has a few others (sample, onoe, amrr) and they're well
documented and researched.
