Re: [ATrpms-users] apt-rpm's base-dir repository format
2009/9/14 Axel Thimm axel.th...@atrpms.net: I use centos4 and centos5. Apt's base-dir repo format has expired? New repomd format is not supported in apt-0.5.15lorg3.94a(-5.el5.rf). apt-rpm can read repomd for many years now (I'm not sure about the version above, I don't remember the apt versions by heart, but I kown tha apt version at ATrpms does read repomd). OK, but I remember that I used base-dir repository in April. That's almost half a year ago! Please put out the announcement of deleting base-dir. Please use atpms-announce list. The apt metadata had been deprecated since 2006. It was pure coincidence it was still there in april (and to be honest I think it was removed long before april). Umm, there is a post of having disappeared in 2007. http://lists.atrpms.net/pipermail/atrpms-users/2007-January/006659.html But, in my blog memory, I changed my apt-line of centos5 to base-dir and it worked fine. It's a mystery... Anyway, I should had announced it more clearly if it would had prevented even one person to have less trouble, sorry for that! Thank you very much. I hope sincerely. ___ atrpms-users mailing list atrpms-users@atrpms.net http://lists.atrpms.net/mailman/listinfo/atrpms-users
