Hi Mosè, It works. Thank you for the help :) Cheers, Qiang On 2016-05-07 05:31:31, Mosè Giordano wrote: > Hi Qiang, > > I think I just fixed the bug in the development version of AUCTeX with > latest commit, try it out if you can. > > Bye, > Mosè ___ auctex mailing list auctex@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/auctex

Re: [AUCTeX] Backward search with Evince when compiling only part of the document
Hi Mosè, I still prefer using 'C-c C-b' to compile the file being edited since using "command on region" I have to first set a regin before I press 'C-c C-r'. Sometimes I forget to do this it will report a error as the _region_.tex file in that case may contain unclosed enverionment or unclosed formula. Since backward search works for 'C-c C-r' as expected. Is that possible to make backward search also work for 'C-c C-b'? Re: [AUCTeX] Backward search with Evince when compiling only part of the document
Hi Mosè, It works when I use 'C-c C-r', both forward and backward search. [AUCTeX] Backward search with Evince when compiling only part of the document
Hi, I have a large file to compile so I split into several files and use AUCTeX's "command on buffer" function. It works well. I can press 'C-c C-b' to just compile the file I am currently editing. Forward Search works well too. The only part that dose not do the desired job is backward search. Every time I double click on the pdf file it jumps to a "_region_.tex" buffer, but not the buffer I am currently editing. I google it and find a very old thread related to this topic http://article.gmane.org/gmane.emacs.auctex.general/4285 I have tried the code mentioned in the thread. But it dose not do the trick, since it is a 4 year old thread. Also I find an item in the news of AUCTeX 11.89 says: Forward and backward search with Evince now also work when only a region of the document is compiled/viewed. https://www.gnu.org/software/auctex/manual/auctex/Changes.html So is that possible to make backward search to work as I want? What's the additional setup?
