Hi.Thanks a lot for sharing this.This game is amazing. I really like it a lot.If the game supports gamecenter, I might have broke something. It's not showing up in my gamecenter on the games tab. Here is how I handle ether mode which works quite well for me:Place the phone or whatever device you're using on a table in landscape mode with the home button facing to the right.then, tilte the phone slowly while it's leening on the table either forward, backwards, left or right depending on what sounds yu hear. It's very important to keep the device touching the table so you can tilte the device directly in one of the four directions you wants to. The trouble starts if you tilte the device for example both to the right and a bit down which makes the game to react as not expected.then, an other important thing to remember: The reason
  for you need to tilte the device very slowly is because the giroscope works like a glass which contains water. that means if you tilte the device too quickly, the game in this case will react very fast, and you'll feel it's not under control. if you hear a sound to the right wich you wanna center, then if you tilte the device too much or more importantly too fast, you'll notice it will pann very fast, and maybe too fast.I hope this makes sence because I'm not sure on how to describe this more detailed because I can't find all the words to describe it. I think the reason for people are having issues is because they don't know how the giroscope works. So if you find this information useful, feel free to spred the tips. Paddy, no, the Draconis Showcase is not available for the iPhone, but the games are. As I said above the Draconis Showcase is primarily a Windows program, as far as I know, which contains two demos for Change Reaction 2.0 and Silver Dollar 1.0. They may have a Mac version, but don't take my word for that. Well, taptapsee is using either volunteers (unlikely) or something like Amazon Mechanical Turk.  Unless someone comes up with something in CV that's so exceptionally spectacular that they'd never make it free and decides to make it free, something like Taptapsee won't really be doable without making it paid.  At least, unless there already is something that spectacular in CV that no one told me about.As for the Android, I think that many, though certainly not all, of the accessibility problems are due to Talkback and not the underlying accessibility API.  It is far from perfect, but it is useable.  The speech rate can max out much higher than IOS, and there's a bunch of third party speech synthesizers.  The default home screen, at least with the Nexus 7, is kinda meh, but it can be replaced (I have to look into the alternatives--only had it 12 hours after all).  I have yet to figure out how to move the cursor with text editi
 ng; there is no manual for talkback.  I don't have an external keyboard to plug in at the moment, so I don't know how that works.  I believe it may be very similar to IOS, but don't know the quickest way to to a text field on my device yet--it's a tablet, so I can't just text.  I read somewhere that you can label buttons now, which helps with the problem of unlabelled apps a bit (and came up on this forum, once).    But, the thing is, all the complaints I have with it end up being Talkback complaints, not Android complaints.  It's incredibly customizable...I've already been through Cyanogen Mod (had sighted assistance, but install should be possible without it I think) and back to Stock, had two different home screens, etc.  It's also a much, much friendlier development environment for us blind Programmers: command line is possible, you don't have to be on a specific platform, you don't have t
 o pay a fee, and the Great God of Apple isn't saying "your app must look like x".  The accessibility API is pretty thorough, or so it appears anyway; the only problem is that you can't randomly define new gestures for your screen reader.  I've talked about making a better screen reader before, and I might actually do so now; it appears very possible.  The button labeling problem can be solved by implementing a central server that lets us share our custom labels, which provides for a lot of interesting possibilities, too.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=149425#p149425

I love their reasoning about fingerprint security and being arrested... if that situation is truly occurring, then chances are you have a good reason to be in cuffs... unless the person robbing you forces you to do it at gunpoint, in which case it would be the same as giving out your password. And I think this, compared with the find my iphone enhanced security is going to make it harder for people to hack phones. So, I got my Nexus 7 yesterday.  I wanted to see how good the accessibility on it is and follow future updates.  Given that it's not nearly as bad as everyone says,at least in my opinion, I'm kind of wondering how many others actually have or use something Android.    My ulterior motive is that I'm considering developing some interesting apps for it; freed of Apple's stupid guidelines, the sky is the limit.  Braille keyboard that accepts grade 2, perhaps, or maybe a BNS/other notetaker emulator.  how about music editing?  I'm not really sure, but I'm wondering how big the potential market is.    Also, I might try for a better screen reader, or perhaps work with the guy doing Spiel.  I'm not sure on that either.   And as a second side note, For other blind devs, Open AL Soft can run on it which is what powers camlorn_audio: hello 3d audio.  Open Al Soft can run o

heres my view on it. This might sound kinda harsh, but here it is. Aprone should fix the item loss bug. Then, poof, swamp is done like it should have been a long time ago. Aprone, sometimes its possible to be to nice. Just finish it dude, just throw in the towel. And if someone suggest, "well maybe someone could hand over swamp to someone else"  really, its his creation. Shit guys, swamp is a great game. I am willing to handle the bugs we have. Aprone, dont do something that not paid, and work, and not fun.  Like everyone else says, you have a life man. I love this game, but if i have not said it clearly yet. This game is done. I am sure aprone is sick of hearing people asking for new things. Not all games are perfect. You dont see someone buy the new metal of armor game and say that they want something else and write to the creator.  Aprone has spent two years guys, two long years of hackers, cheaters, and little complainers. The signature of your fingerprint isn't stored in a user-accessible way; only the reader can read and verify it. As to whether or not it could be copied from somewhere you left it, there have certainly been interesting attacks on fingerprint sensors before, including the creation and use of silicone dummy fingers. However, I think it's fairly safe to say that if an attacker wants your data badly enough to want to replicate your finger in silicone, you've probably got other issues to be worried about, not least the possibility that the thief who nicks your iPhone doesn't just also lop off your finger. The state of specialist reading and DAISY apps on iOS is half-baked, to be generous. I love my iPod, but I also need my BrailleNote. Unfortunately KeySoft's DAISY implementation is only marginally less broken, and I'm sure as hell not bringing along an additional device. I'm not going for Humanware's player products while they are dysfunctional on a network, though I accept that solid buttons are a plus. Well I tried the turkish Coffee when I was in Kemer, near Antalya, Turkey. It just tastes different than the coffee I tried, but it's just delicious!  I come to Istanbul in the automn holidays, so hopefully I will be able to taste it again. It's just amazing! I actually didn't realized my parents mixed my coffee with some sugar or even milc, but next time, I'll definitely try it black. I actually didn't liked coffee a few months ago, but when I accidentally tasted a piece of chocolate with Coffee taste, I didn't find it bad at all. I actually liked the smell of fresh Coffee, but couldn't drink it black at the beginning. But after you drunk some cups of coffee you can try it without milc and only sugar. I accidentally pore to much sugar into my cup of coffee and it tasted like nothing. I like the coffee a little stronger and black.I did
 n't tried any espresso-machines which grind the sugar beans and cooks the coffee within 2 minutes, but as long as they don't have to much buttons which can do several things, I'll try them out. I went through the registration process and never received a registration code.At any rate, you're correct - I have a different goal than most existing games. Games today provide practice for keyboarding skills which are already learned. TalkieType will provide that as well, but it will ALSO help people who are starting from the absolute beginning.My goal is to write the software in such a way that the only help a first time computer user would need is for someone to launch TalkieType. Once TalkieType is running, it will guide the user from there with no other assistance. Compared to parents and TVI's, computers have infinite patience, are very low-cost, and don't have other responsibilities pulling them away.I've also designed the system so that lessons can be very easily written/translated, so that TalkieType can be used in various languages and with d
 ifferent keyboard layouts. A first run of the completed application would prompt the user to select a region - that way "little-finger" types aren't confused by things like "pinkies".The gaming component is one of very high interest for me. But even the most basic games imaginable require SOME knowledge of the keyboard, so that's the primary goal of the software. Unfortunately, the Kickstarter campaign ends in just a few days, and I won't have time to design and code any meaningful games in that time, as I still have to work.If the Kickstarter campaign reaches its goal, then I will have the means to spend much more time on this project. Hello,I've been thinking about this whole thing for a few days now, and I just realized that if Aprone does decide to continue working on the game, then the best course of action would be to put test server back up as usual, but to only allow people he hand-picks to influence any decision he should make concerning patching and such. this way he won't have to send out links to test clients to anyone, he can just put it up, everyone enjoys the game, and the few troublemakers wishing to mess it up won't be able to do so. in fact, it'll probably be a good idea to disable the report command completely as I'm sure that command never gets used properly anyway. Aprone, if you decide to stop working on swamp, then at least stay in touch man. @Dark: yes, Turkish coffee is often quite sweet too, as I imagine similar eastern cultures, to soften the blow somewhat. Though I personally think the gritty nature of Turkish coffee is really its own reward, I can see how some people don't.You don't really need anything special to percolate by hand. This is traditional cold stirring, no percolator machine. Just the water and sifted fresh grounds. Beat the grounds with a fork until it's well-mixed, and boil. You poor the entire mixture into the cup without any preparation once its well-brewed and then the grounds fall to the bottom, which is of course the magic moment to begin drinking it so you get that wonderful rough texture. The objective of the game isn't to buy a starship at first, they are ment for if you are able to build and build and get enough supplys to build it. As for the lag on walking, I think that's rather intentional to add realism to the game. But the basic thing for getting a colony is if their's not a colony dispatch terminal that's in the area where you got off the shuttle, their's one to the east. Once you get their type background or backgrounds I'm not sure which, and pick the background you wish. Personally I would choose the student background since if your aiming for space it gives you the skills required. Then type choose colony and follow the instructions it gives you. I'm not on often but when I'm online, you can page Isaac for help if you need it. Pluss their's a join colony feature where you can join other users colonies instead of starting your own. I'm not quite sure how to explain the diffrance. I will draw from experience from playing dead space, which I believe is 3d. The diffrents is in 2d, their is no way of turning with out walking. Their is only an x and a y coordinate, and in 3d their is a z coordinate. In 2d fps's, x is when you are pushing the left and right aeros, and y is when your walking forward or backwords. That's as far as I understand it, I could be majorly rong here though. As for 3d, I'm not quite sure how to explain it since I was never a math wiz, and thus could never understand the hole point of x y and z. Pluss, 3d does offer the ability to climb, jump and do a buntch more stuff that 2d is most likely not capable of. The only security features in that sense that I can think of are coming to iPhone 5S, which has the fingerprint reader, which in theory should make things easier. That having been said, the auto-update feature means less typing passwords. Unfortunately as I understand it, pressure can have as much affect on that given protein molicule as heat, one reason why the pasturisation process in milk these days involves high pressure sinse part of pasturisation means denaturing the renit enzyme. This is why the research I've done suggests most commercially brewed coffee from places like mcdonalds who do it in bulk ends up spoiled even if it came from reasonable quality beans in the first place.I also disagree personally on your assertion of taste since when made properly coffee should not be bitter, but a smooth, even taste allowing you to get a range of flavours, much as a good wine shouldn't be bitter either, to me at least all milk or cream does is adulterate coffee, though to an extent that is preference rather than chemistry, indeed I do confess over coffee and chocolate I am something of a snob, . @Sebby, I've unfortunately not got to try tirkish coffee, but I am rather jealous. When i was in egypt I got our egyptian guide to make me one of their egyptian coffees, which uses the same perculation method as tirkish coffee though I beleive the beans the egyptians use were a different variety. That was nice indeed, especially when i persuaded our guide to let me try one at the same strength he and the other egyptians drank it, rather than the half strenght they gave to us weedy europeans . The only thing I couldn't get used to there was how sweet they prepared it, since myself I'm not a big fan of sweetened coffee. I'd be interested to see how the same variety of beans the egyptians used came across in a cafetiere as opposed to a perculator, since I'm not absolutely certai
 n how the two methods compare (other than obviously a cafetiere takes less time), though I believe the grinding needs to be slightly different if your perculating. Btw, amusingly, I first got into grinding beans by hand when a catholic priest invited me for lunch. Well windows is another matter, but changing voice would be nice and i like the idea of siri doing more. That being said, i've  already noticed that occasionally when reading long pages with vo it can conk out in the middle. This game's focus isn't space exploration. I've been playing for a few hours now and am not even close to buildinga  starsihp or purchasing one.When getting started exit the shuttle, play with the hatemoo simulator (which is extremely fun for some reason) if you want, buy some equipment (I purchased the machete and an environmental skinsuit), and head to the dispatch or linkup terminal. I found it interesting how you can join another empire instead of creating one. Well I wouldn't say "relationship" is the right word, brock just goes goofy in the presence of any woman particularly for comedy effect . I do remember the second series ended when ash goes off to the orange islands with brock meeting a woman called professor Ivy who had the perfect place for brock, a place where she breed pokemon, where she had no cook, where she was living in a hut because as a researcher she had no time to repare anything etc, --- so "superbrock to the rescue!" as he put it! Indeed that's one fact I liked about brock, underneith the crazy love struck bit he was actually a nice guy! quite understandable when you see his history with him being left to take care of many brothers and sisters. On the down side however, brock being left with prof ivy did mean we got tracy, --- who apparently according to my brother in m
 any of the anime magazines he read was referd to as "that useless fifth wheel tracy!" :d. which probably explains why brock came back in later series just because he was fantastic, however the channel which was showing pokemon only owned up to mid way through the orange islands series, so I've not seen any more after that, though I do know it went on for ages. That being said according to my brother who is something of an anime nut, apparently the original series is still regarded as the best, which makes sense given how engaging the characters were and given the fact the plots and series were really just good fun and quite harmless, indeed it was quite ironic that at the time I was watching pokemon I was studdying psychology and looking at the effects of various children's cartoons on things like violent behaviour, and yet couldn't find any of that in pokemon indeed the series seemed extremely moral without being overblown and yet had incredibly enga

Dark,I suspect your approximately 97 degrees,  is C instead of F.97 degrees C is just under the 100 degrees C of boiling while 97 degrees F is a little below body temperature.I use an electric coffee machine from Kitchen Aid, and I suspect since the 100 degrees C water is sprayed out of little holes, the act of forcing it through the holes would cool it down to 97 degrees C.It has a real button to press for starting and does ten cups in thirteen minutes.I do like it with sugar and cream as the blend of bitter and sweet mixed with the acid of the coffee and fat in the milk tends to balance the drink and excites all the taste buds.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=149375#p149375

The only coffee I drink that isn't instant is Turkish. So, both extremes of the spectrum. Obviously no coffee maker is going to brew you decent Turkish coffee, but since it takes half an hour or so to get the grounds to percolate sufficiently to make drinking it enjoyable, I frequently find that I don't have the time. I do like it so far,though. just like a browser game,but in a mud form. Hi. sadly there is no full version as yet, though since philip hasn't mentioned the game we can assume progress isn't entirely stopped, albeit I do wonder what has happened to it as I got the impression it was relatively close to release last year. Regarding the quicksand, if I remember rightly what you need to do is climb the vine, then walk along the branch to your right and look for another branch close by to jump to, jump across and head back to the ground. you will need to use the scan to look in the different directions and see what branches and vines you can get to. Security isn't some bogyman that keeps software moving forward against the user's will, but a continuous process of improvement to make it secure. If you chose to ignore it, but were then compromised by a security bug, obviously you know the cause and how to fix it. FWIW, I don't believe that in your case it would make much of a difference since you already tend to limit your exposure just in the ways you use the device, but there's nothing like solid information from Apple to put your mind at ease.  ecurity patches are free, and you'll most likely still be a happy bunny at the end of it. Why not take them? In the case of Windows XP, you clearly don't have a choice, so you're just going to have to limit your exposure further, change browsers, etc.The options are nice-to-have. Apps can now auto-update, find my iPhone can now prevent erasure or recovery without your password, VoiceOver gets handwriting and premium voice selections, etc. You could manage without, but they're nice. The bugs that go along with those mostly comedown to focus issues, for which I encourage people (when they find them) to write descriptions to Apple. Siri can now do a bunch of useful things, like turning the control centre switches on and off and open more Settings screens. My only objection to that is that the British Siri voice is slowed down quite substantially, and one of the most noticeable focus issues is right there in the Siri display. Now that Siri speaks more informat
 ion, this is less terrible than it sounds, but still quite annoying. I can't speak for beer, but coffee is the same over here in Britain. There are far too many very horrible instant brands which are just not nice. nevertheless, even some supermarkits now are stocking ground coffee, and Wittards where I get my beans and where I also get them ground have several shops across the country too, so it's fairly easy to find a half decent coffee if people just bothered to make the effort.As I said, it always amazes me how in britain people would regard you as some sort of weerdo if you attempted a kind of instant tea, and that people are still making tea pretty much as they have for the last two hundred years with a teapot and bags,  many households even have the traditional tea service with cups and saucers, and there are still lots of british working men who demand a mug of "builders tea" ie, very strong brued tea before work, yet coffee is just not given the same respect.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=149358#p149358

@Nin, I don't know about handwriting, how does that work? New voices could be good, can you get them for voiceover as well? While I don't mind scansoft daniel, since it is also my supernova voice (thanks to orphius dying on me), and my sapi voice, it'd be nice if there were an alternative just to distinguish my phone.I do like siri, so a new version would be handy. One thing I've always wanted siri to do is the ability to add  contacts to my phone or do searches for the ap store.Regarding security, well if we were ever at the point that someone else was using my phone without my permission, that would mean it would have been stolen anyway so it's probably too late at that point . I also wonder how much this security log in gets in the way of using your phone normally, since I already find putting in my password a bit of 
 a pest if I don't have my bluetooth keyboard handy. Hi,I just downloaded RTR. It downloaded and installed fine but, when I launch it, it won't speak to me as I try to navigate the menus. I use Jaws as my screen reader.
