The strange problem I had with YouTube (which I don't have any idea whether it has been resolved or not), is that if a vidio starts, when you up or down arrow, NVDA wouldn't speak. You need to manually press the insert+up arrow key for it to speak the current line. And you know what's even worse? If a vidio starts and you haven'twent into the flash object, you navigate to it and press enter, nothing will happen using NVDA! You won't be able to enter the flash object so it means, unfortunately, that either I have to get to the flash object quickly enough before the vidio starts, or that I can't pause the vidoi... Anyone have this issue? It works fine like, about, 1 month ago and had just started recently.

yes, i try, but how can i choose one? there is just a chance to use the arrow keys to choose one click. If i do it 4 times (press the arrow keys in whatever order), i cant select more clicks and the only way to quit is enter.

I agree. I will likely just buy the original, if at all... and hope that there are good unlockables. I didn't buy much dlc for MK 9 and may not for this one either... over the last few years I've found MK has started losing its appeal. It's fun, but the only factor that's always set it apart has been its blood factor... and it's starting to get old. lol The presentation is good though, so we'll see. The sounds are still similar to what we hear in MK 9 even from the stream... nevertheless I am excited in this game. We shall see come next year!

Look on any sites that deal with torrents for stuff coming out of Asia... and the latest episodes should be uploaded somewhere. KM player is essentially a media player, buut with the ability to read soft subtitles aka .srt files out loud using sapi. The .mkv file format also supports reading of subtitles embedded into the video though how this works is beyond me. It isn't that hard to find... since most subtitled anime will be in .mkv format for storage reasons.

Hi. I can't chat, and i keep hearing randum things like player names doing stuff like jump the roof tops or some crap. Last time i went on, i heard something like "randy has just finished an activity: jump the rooftop and get down the elavader!" And i went on before that and heard mostly jibrish, its messages coming in so fast every time. I did also here something about dinner being served in the savezoan in 30 minutes! The server is completely screwed up, or maybe its just there's so much AI that messages play too fast.

How would you measure such a thing?  If you're referring to the amount of features there are available and how they differ from, say, Miriani, I'd say there's a fair amount of difference.  While communicators, for instance, still function very similarly to those on Miriani, they have other tricks as well, such as being able to establish a link with anyone from anywhere in the galaxy and not just when you're in the same room with them, or acting as both traditional and MF communicators.  The laser turrets on ships all have different power levels available to them, and cannons fire from two units away instead of one.  other ship weapons exist such as torpedos and heat guided missiles that can be fired from anywhere in te sector at an enemy.  combat itself is different, no longer requiring the primitive lock on coordinate thing people get used to on miriani, instead allowing you to aim at a particular ship by name.Beside these there 
 is also ship building, shipwreck grabbing, PVP arenas, transport vehicles to get around on planets that seem rather hard to deal with, banking that allows for both sending and receiving money via your computer as well as allowing you to both deposit and withdraw credits so as to add or subtract to what you have on hand, a lottery that as far as I can tell works on every capital planet, host giveaways; I think I've won like 100 million credits just for playing, and various training modules for combat purposes and the like to get you up on your feet as soon as possible.A third race is currently being considered and I'm sure there are other features in the works as well.  It's not surprising to receive at least one announcement per day letting us know of either a minor or major change that has been made to the game.  If this isn't enough, then I don't know what is.

Hmm. That is a pretty strange error. When I complete 15:4, everything seems to work fine. As I mentioned, there are some bugs scattered throughout the Chaos Versions. Some times if I am having issues, I find it helps to reinstall the Chaos version.

I had trouble with mount moon myself.I had to have sighted help when going through it on the real red and firered versions, but I seemed to get through it ok in braillemon; though it took me some time.I hope fly will be usable in the new update so I can go back their and get a pokemon I missed.i can't wait for the new update!As for the card game aspect, I hope it works out ok; I know other games have put a real battling system in with a card system; witness Digimon world 3; so I know it's possible for a pokemon game to do it to.I do have one more question about the launcher.Is braillemon still a separate executable, or is it now tied to the launcher?I'm asking because JAWS has a function where you can tell it to go to sleep for programs that have there own speech support.I already have braillemon set up for the function, so i wander if the launcher is tied to the game, if the launcher will have speech support to?

Actually that's what is called competition. If the screen reader marker were bigger, the fact that NVDA has all those features would force the price of JAWS down. Unfortauntely, the market is too small, and the buyers are too ignorant, to force the price of JAWS down. It's simple economics.

Really? Guilty Gear is pretty fast-paced to... and I haven't played MVC 2 enough to say, but the last time I did it seemed pretty crazy too. Again probably because of the more extended sounds and whatnot that make it sound like there's a lot more going on? Just speculation... as I remember when I saw MVC 3 for the first time I didn't understand anything that was going on. Don't have that problem anymore... well, I still do. Just less than before. lol

lol Dark, while I can appreciate how much trouble you've had, I don't think generalizing that Itunes is trouble period for everyone is necessarily a good thing. lol Many pc users have no issues with it. Share play is an interesting feature... and one I'm sort of excited to try. But since my mainstay are fighting games, and those I can play mostly on my own, right now that fresh new feeling doesn't justify the money I'd have to pay especially since I'm investing in a new phone. Plus as I said, I have tons of ps3 games that would end up just sitting on my shelf... and no way do I plan to just let that happen. so odds are I won't trade it in. lolAs for injustice... I'm no tournament-level player, but I would recommend practice. Most fighting game players actually find the back to block system much easier, precisely because it reminds people of how pretty much every fighting game that isn't Mortal Kombat or Soul Calibur blocks that way. The movement in MK and Injustice to me has always been a little siffer than the lies of Tekken of SFIV, but it isn't enough to make a difference... for back forward moves, tap the directions instead of sl
 iding your thumb across the dpad assuming you're using a controller. If you slide your thumb, chances are you might accidentally input a down or up motion without meaning to resulting in why the moves won't come out.

Well Aaron you could say Parser games have more freedom, you could equally say gamebooks have no frustratingly ambiguous interaction methods. I'll agree on learning from your mistakes in gamebooks, though I do miss the full exploration and examination of objects, albeit as I said I personally prefer this in a limited Parser system like Eamon or something like Inquisitor (if we forget that it's an audio game for a second), sinse it has less ambiguity. I will say I did play some very good parser games back when i played if seriously. Worlds Apart I never got stuck with sinse all of the questions and what to do were a matter of looking at the world around you and following logic, the wonderful writing also helped hugely. Babel was another, indeed Babel reminded me rather of Dreamhold sinse you are trapped in a research base with no memory but find glowing objects you can enter to see scenes from the past. The puzzles were on the hole again fairly logical with 
 the world around you, albeit one of them I found I needed the hints for. Paul Obrian's earth and sky games were great, albeit I do wish the combat had more propper mechanics, and his game Lash was fantastic as well, one of the few occasions in an If game where I actually found myself being genuinely shocked and emotionally genuinely invested in what was happening. I will admit I gave up largely on parser games sinse I became sick of finding myself getting stuck in some stupid way in two out of every three games I tried, especially those that had exceptional writing and a really interesting world, but I could find no way to progress, where as gamebooks as you said are generally always possible to get through with enough persistance,  accepting the likes of Hellfire from the ffproject of course .

thx for the game list people. I was also stubborn and didn't trade in my ps3 for a year but since sony now has share play which will allow me to play more of these sited games with close friends I finally decided to do the upgrade. its a fresh new feeling that makes me appreciate the changefor all my injustice players do you have any general tips? I am good in the game but not great, I hate the blocking system since its similar to Capcom games, and it seems as if moves don't come out as fluently for example moves that consist of (back forward) seem to not come out when needed. idk it could just be me but the game movement just seems stiff. I didn't really have this problem with the mk games. well as I stated any tips will be helpful from the more skilled  players

It displays it in graphical mode for radioboss because it has the winamp lib for vst and I don't know any good dsp radio FM compressors. And there is not a way for me to change the preset using the graphical interface.

Hi. No, you do not have to use Itunes, indeed as someone who has just abandoned Itunes and bought an mp3 player I can definitely say Itunes is more trouble than it is worth, at least on Pc. Get your Iphone, learn your way around Voiceover, play games and have fun, (check out the looktell voiceover tutorial for a great starters guide to Vo on the Iphone), and only if you think you really! need Itunes worry about tangling with it.

A quick update, and it's not good news:The search results are now getting worse and showing less information. Before the video heading it used to show the duration and there was a watch later button. Now, all of that information has been removed. So now, you can no longer find out how long a video is.This is annoying as I use that to determine how long each part of a let's play is, which would let me decide how much time I'd need to watch.Now, to determine the duration, I have to go into the video itself, find the flash object, go to it, arrow down through all of the buttons and then find the duration itself.This is really quite bad because there are some screen readers that can't read flash objects properly.I'm now seriously wondering what YouTube are trying to do. Are they trying to streamline the pages to make them look less spammy?

Well, it’s true that finding a job is hard for blinds, but I guess a blind person can manage to raise 1000 dollars, or at least 700 per year. This wouldn’t be true especially for those who live in poor countries, like south Africa, Iraq, Iran or even my country, Albania, though I have two computers, a Samsung Galaxy s3 and other things I need, there are many people who dream to even have a computer here. But for an American, Italian, French or british blind it’s easier to buy jaws and other programs which are designed for us because your payments are higher. I have an advice, which I’m already practicing to myself. It’s traditionally known that a blind person finds hard to be employed somewhere, and the only way to potentially avoid this is to learn and study hard. Maybe we’ll get more chances of being employed where we like, or related to what we are graduated in because we have more qualities which a sited person may not have. Maybe this is not valuable, but I’ll keep trying.I will always put attention to this. How would you feel if somebody else created a similar product to yours with almost the same features, and with a lower price? This is a great case with jaws and NVDA., because as I mentioned before most of the main features of jaws are copied by NVDA. This may not be important for you, but I bet your opinion would change if this happened to your business. And, if Freedom scientific sents the NVDA developers to court, they will win withouta doubt because it’s something which doesn’t need so many experiments and arguments. But I hope this won’t ever happen because NVDA would permanently stop existing.

With most VST plug-ins, you can save FXP files which are like presets. In fact, some VST plug-ins actually use FXP files as presets that you have to load manually. Some, like JB Broadcast probably store them in the dll so you can't change them, unless you either hack or re-compile from source, which is beyond my and many others' knowledge. Either way, you have to still load the FXP when you reload the VST. I don't think there is a way to change the default preset.I haven't used Audacity's VST support in a while, but last I remember it can't load FXP files, and neither can Gold Wave. It's a pity because those two arequite accessible for VST support, though a bit unintuitive as was said previously. And they are both by no means crash proof, you've got to be careful if you start using powerful plug-ins as under certain circumstances they will just conk out for no reason. Of course that can be said with all software, but a dedicated VST ho
 st is probably the way to go here as it lets you process things in realtime, which seems ot be what you want.I'm not familiar with Radio Boss so can't say anything about that. You can either load preset 6 every time you load the plug-in or you can save an FXP of the settings you want, and just load that. Either way you're going to be loading something every time, personally I'd just go down to the 6th preset as it's easier than browsing to a custom made FXP file. As I say though, I'm not familiar with how Radio Boss works.

Hooking Speech Manager class into Dynamic Menu

Hi all,I posted code over on the Blastbay forums as the author of the class and others tried to help me over there:http://www.blastbay.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1505I eventually want to implement this speech manager class into my sidescroller, but now I'm just trying to create a basic menu and not having much luck with it.I wonder what the easiest way to do it is. Make a modified version of Dynamic Menu and notify the class to support Speech Manager or create a speech_manager global variable, which doesn't seem to be working when I call set_speech_mode in Dynamic Menu with the instance of Speech Manager.Thanks all. I'll use Sapi if I have to, but if I can implement screen reader support with a backup Sapi option that'd be ideal.

FS has really pushed for metro app support using the touch cursor feature implemented in jaws 15, that was actually something that I liked. The whole advanced navigation thing was cool too, it seemed a bit more streamlined than NVDA's is, but only just, and you can do some things a bit quicker than with nvda. NVDA does support metro apps if you use object navigation though it is extremely laggy, more laggy than in jaws in some cases, but also NVDA got in first with that kind of thing.

Hello,While I agree that it's hard to get a job, I don't agree about reporting a post that someone makes, which is only an opinion, to us (the moderators) particularly as it is just that, an opinion and not an attack.It's interesting because now we have both sides of this argument: on one hand, yes, there are those who sit around, but on the other, it's certainly tricky. I've done a btec national diploma for ICT, basically computer based stuff, but a lot of it was with advanced features that were quite visual in nature, and now I'm not really sure what I want to do. For now, I'm focusing on hobbies, and trying to figure out my next move in terms of trying to get a job. But first, I need to realize what sort of job I'd like, or if not, find something that I might be able to learn something from.Regarding prices, I definitely think they need to be lowered, but they also have to make some rather cool new features. The trouble 
 is, what could they do? What is next? Image recognition is getting there, what about metro apps?

Hello,I have also struggled with parser based games, in the end resorting to walkthroughs which isn't really the best way to play. I did manage to get through dreamhold and Alien Abduction though, but for the rest, I've always had to use a walkthrough, which is why I prefer gamebooks as while there isn't as much freedom, you are constantly either progressing or learning from your mistakes.

Hello,We still get our public links because we were there from the beginning. However, they decided to not give new account users public links, an I don't know why. They want people to use their way of sharing links, which would allow any file to be shared, but at the same time it's a bit odd.

@Pitermach, Even if there are more visuals than dialogue I'd still like to watch Blakes 7 to get as much as I can, indeed often these days I'll watch something and then! read a detailed synopsis or whatever. That however is still in the future sinse I shan't be looking at buying the series on dvd until I've done with Buffy and Angel, which could be some time . Blakes 7 have however gone further up the list sinse yesterday two more of my friends recommended the series to me though sadly neither has it on dvd for me to borrow.Regarding Alex, I have wondered if Ios is changing voices but sinse I still have an Iphone 5, didn't see the point in buying a new 5s and haven't yet bought an Iphone 6 (though I might at some stage in the future), I can't hear the voice. I do wonder though if Ios is having a changeover at some point sinse I've
  noticed sinse the last Ios 7 upgrade Siri has a new voice, and one which sounds pretty natural. It's a British English voice of course, but it certainly isn't Realspeak Daniel.This morning I'm anticipating both of the arrival of my parents who are coming to visit, and my victor stream which is being deliveredd. I'm really looking forward to getting the victor and just being able to transfer books and maybe music directly onto the thing without all those shenanigans with itunes, but sinse I already mentioned that in the other topic I'll disist. Either way I'm really looking forward to seeing the Victor turn up,  oh yeah, and possibly my parents too . Now it is time for coffee!
