A few objects are very difficult to find because sounds like the fosset and flies are very quiet compared to things like the door; though I believe this has more to do with distance based volume level than the actual volume of the sound it's self.I suggest that you only play the wall bump sound when moving, not simply turning towards a wall, as it keeps it down to an as needed sort of level, cutting down on spam.Also, I noticed that most of the time you seem to be able to either walk through, or glance off of walls, so I would suggest either making all of the walls consistently solid, or playing a sound for when you slide against a wall, separate from the normal wall bump sound.Consider adding the ability to snap to a specific direction (45 or 90 degrees is the standard) and possibly also a sidestep feature, that way, you can walk in straight lines when needed.For instance, if you start facing north, than pressing control plus left arrow would autoturn you to the west, pressing it again would turn you to the south, pressing control right arrow would turn you back to the west, and again back to the north, etc, with each new direction being named as you turn to it.Every audio game I know of with free rotation does this, because it keeps problems like getting stuck in a corner down to a minimum when just moving between areas, but you can still rotate freely to find objects as needed.With side stepping, you might use shift plus left right arrow, to move 1 step left or right horizontally as compared to the direction you are facing (useful for following walls to find doors.Maybe also add the ability to check your current direction in degrees, usually the f key is used (for facing).I can't find the stairway near the clock, not sure if it isn't their yet, or what.When I get right on top of the clock, nothing seems to happen, so if the stairs are off to one side, it may be a good idea to make a separate ambient sound for them.I like your use of reverb, and that interesting Doppler effect with the (music box?) as you move around it, makes it sound like an old film.The atmosphere is pretty convincing too, with the creaking door, old wooden floor and rain outside, with nighttime cricketsI think that creepy little piano ditty is pretty cool as well.The walking sounds are very low quality, and the door sound, even though it's cool, has allot of background noise in it, so I suggest you search freesound.org for replacements if possible, it's an awesome site with straight forward CC licensing and a massive selection.For more music (if you want to spice things up)the best sites I know would be http://www.freemusicarchive.com http://www.soundimage.org http://www.nihilore.com or http://www.marcelofernandezmusic.com/ro … ree-music/

JLove,As someone who has worked on three administrative projects over the years, overseeing both the interactions of sighted and blind players, and also as a long-time gamer, I agree with you. Merely banning someone for being an asshole is not necessarily the best course of action. I don't think any good admin would agree with this precise reasoning. But, there is a difference between being an asshole and being toxic. I was thinking today about how banning isn't a science. It is an art. No case is the same, especially when it comes to players who are perceived as extremely disruptive. You may make decisions, as an admin, that are controversial when it comes to how you manage your player base. You'll see a situation and think, well someone could easily reason this way. However, difficult though it may seem, I'm going to take such and such stance. And here's why. In other words, although Dentin has taken a certain stance, he could privately reason that your opposite opinion is just as valid. But ultimately, administration involves making a decision and then observing what happens as a result of your decision. Sometimes you like what you see; sometimes you don't. Only time will tell what will happen as a result of these two bannings. Another thing which I was thinking about today is that in an ideal world, an admin would never have to ban a player. As admins, we like people to coexist peacefully. We try to take preventitive/warning measure before banning a player. I believe that most admins want to accommodate the needs of their players if at all possible. So banning someone, regardless of the reason, is never an easy decision.It's hard to comment on this particular situation without seeing logs, given that the dynamic of Dentin's player base is different. And therefore, what he sees in his logs will be different. So my response to this question could only be from a devil's advocate point of view. I just don't have enough data to give a definitive answer on why this particular situation is okay. But, I'll do my best to explain, based on the data which I have purely as a player, to explain how someone could have reasoned that banning Ignotus was fair. Let's say, hypothetically, that Mike, the senior admin who I primarily worked with, had come to me and said, I have a feeling this player is becoming toxic, but I don't have time to read through his logs. For the sake of this scenario, let's say Mike, a guy I've been friends with since 2008, runs AA, and I'm looking into Ignotus's situation for him. Let's say I don't know Ignotus at all as a friend.The first thing I'd do is look at where my veteran/long-time players primarily hang out. As I've been playing AA for three years, I can tell you where they mainly hang out, "private" channels. These channels may be private, but they have lots and lots of players. Veteran players often find moderated/public channels to be annoying and useless places to chat. They get tired of newbies asking what they perceive to be stupid questions. And they have less tolerance for these questions because they may not be acquainted with most of the people who post on these channels. It could also be argued that although these channels are private, some are, or have been, in a sense, semi-public. That is to say, what is said on them is not expected to remain secret. Passwords are only put in place to make sure that channels are not moderated and that newbies and "idiots" can't get in. https://www.waves.com/bundles/gtr3Waves GTR is a VST plugin that simulates guitar amps, cabinets, and stomp boxes. It would work with Reaper. It's currently $49. The menus, edit fields, and dialogs would be accessible to NVDA, but you'd need some sort of script/addon to be able to click controls, dropdowns etc, and to identify which stomp boxes are in the grid. I wrote some Jaws scripts that do all this. But I have no idea how you go about achieving something similar in NVDA. Jaws scripts are pretty easy to learn how to write as far as just manipulating the mouse the way a sighted person would do, and having jaws give you feedback based on what colour a particular stomp box is or whatever.

On windows I personally use microsoft outlook, or did, until it went crazy and I for some reason don't seem to get emails on that computer, so I have to use my phone or mac for email. But outlook worked fine when it was working.

I may be the only one here, but I actually like Windows 10 Mail. The interface is clean and easy to use. I know it wasn't always very accessible, but it's been great in the Creators update and beyond. I haven't really played with previous versions of Windows 10 due to my annoyance of a lack of a talking installer.

Just know that whatever we decide to work with, I will let you know.  The main thing is  we want to make sure that the physical control surface will let me control the DAW like I desire.    I know about he Reaper Accessibility, and I'd like to get this to work in parallel with it, so taht way  the control mixer surface is right there with you as well.  We actually programmed this setup to work with any game controller you connect to hte PC as well.  I've actually used an Xbox 360 controller to wirelessly control the DAW from a different room in the house, haha.

I also use Thunderbird. But I haven't experienced any kind of sluggishness with the program. But for some reason, some of my folders don't show up anymore. I can't access my Spam folder for example. It just doesn't show up in the tree view. Same goes for the trash folder...

@Niklas, sounds like the leader of the blackmarket what a pyromaniac and burned it down, the blackmarket is a single location so there are no other blackmarkets you can go to if one is gone.If you want to see the blackmarket you will need to play in a game which has a blackmarket, be that a new game or an older save.As for new updates coming out the save updating system will work fine, it has worked the same way for a long time, you load up and old save and it picks up how many missing things there are from the old outdated save file and adds them in for you.When you say some locations were closed you might have to explain further, there is only one closed location that I know of and that's the book shop, it opens if you build a royal library so you can buy books from him to read, other than that I don't know other closed buildings.

@Criela,Awesome, intelligent, well-written post.Whether right or wrong on the legal aspects of it, I still cannot help but maintain my opinions stated in posts 77 and 87.  From an admin point of view, I'd like you to explain to me how negativity, when expressed privately, is a big deal.  Let's say that I am a player of a game, and I'm not pleased with the way things are going for whatever reason, but I keep my "bitching" to private chats and private channels between those players that feel the same as I do.  I don't flood newbie or other well-trafficked public channels.  Obviously, as an admin, you can see these things in logs (assuming that every single action by my character is logged).  So from an admin point of view, I'd like you to explain to me how exchanging private messages or having private conversations on private channels with friends or like-minded players affects your game at all in the grand scheme of things.  I cannot see an effect so great that it warrants a ban in that case.  It's not like I'm causing veteran players to leave, causing newbies to quit, or causing you not to be able to acquire new players.The attitude that we should ban someone solely for being a "jerk, asshat, asshole," or whatever else you want to call it is concerning to me.  As I stated before, no one likes to be around a jerk.  That being said, part of everyday life is dealing with people; some will bbe nice, gentle, and caring, and others will be vitriolic, acerbic, caustic assholes.  If my boss is an asshole, I can't very well tell him to fuck off and not deal with him, unless I am willing to lose my job.  If my mother-in-law is the biggest pain in the ass I've ever met, I can't just remove her from my life without suffering a blow to my marriage and the repercussions that will entail.  The point is, we're all adults.  We should have learned by now how to deal with those people that we find distasteful or that we just don't like.  Moreover, any game that has a chat system also has code in place to limit what is received (i.e., ability to ignore, block, or mute other players, etc.), if someone chooses to use them.  Banning a player simply for words or opinions that we don't agree with, when those opinions do not promote violence or create danger, smacks of extreme censorship to me.  That censorship is made worse when the player being banned for his/her opinions and words expressed them in private conversations, not public ones.  So where does it end?  If we're at the point where we're okay with banning players based on private, nonviolent conversations, then what does that say about the state of this country?  To me, that would be the same thing as the police keeping logs of what occurs behind closed doors in our residences, then incarcerating us for having a private conversation there, simply because they didn't like the content.  I'm sorry, but that's scary to me...slippery slope, here we come.  As I stated before, even if law states that I am not subject to the first amendment and can do what I please with a private website or forum with respect to censorship (I still have yet to find case law on point with regard to that), I certainly believe that to do so violates the spirit of what the Supreme Court has stated in Terminiello (who I might add, was a total asshole in my opinion); I don't agree with his vitriolic, racist remarks, but curtailing his right to express his opinion in the end does more harm to us and sets us back as a country than his ignorance ever will.  Those of us who are intelligent enough will simply see it for what it is and tune it out.

Hi I've finally given this a try. I love the concept, particularly with myself being a huge dog lover (Reever my black lab/retriever cross guide dog is just playing pull with my wife while I write this), though you might consider using something other than the mouse in the main menu since when i first started the demo i wondered why the game was sitting there with unresponsive keys and only got that I had to move the mouse when I knocked it by mistake . i also seemed to be moving the mouse too far since getting it to stick on a play option was interesting. One thing I find a little odd is that sometimes the sonar sounds and following it leads me entirely off the trail, sometimes into a stream, which is odd. I wonder if this is perhaps because it is unclear when the sonar is ahead or behind? You might consider adding some way of telling when the sonar is  you since it's easy to get turned around, and sighted players would be able to see what direction they were facing between pressing the sonar and not, actually I will say i like the fact the game has graphics, they contribute to the atmosphere for me even if they're a bit too 3D for me to make too much sense of.I also wonder about the various trail ping sounds,  when trying to find the missing boy it seemed there were multiple traills with different pitches and sometimes I heard a heartbeat, Indeed I suspect I probably found some of the things I was supposed to but they didn't trigger (I did get the toy eventually, but only after wandering an area I've already explored quite a bit). One odd thing I find about the way the audio works is often I'll be bang on scenter then go off, though whether this is because the trails curve I'm not sure. I'll give the game another try though and see how things get on, I'm really glad the games' development is going well, in terms of both it's accessibility and public exposure, since that is definitely something we need a little more of.

16, do that and the combat is gonna be a nightmare assuming that a target stays still. Add movement and it's gonna be hell. You'd be forced to team up even more then now. That or write more scripts. Add on top you firing weapons, locking onto a target, yeah. There is a good chants of you missing the message that you've been shot at entirely.

@SirBadger - if you can't give me a yay or nay on the refined versions I can't help any further.@death - I may actually just say sorry, because while it was 9 dollars cheaper for you to get the GoG version (which is perfectly understandable), if the memory layout is different it would cost me the price of the game AND a few hours work to create a non-steam config. I'm hammered making a more adjustable / adaptable version of SoniFight atm, so I don't think I'll get it done before christmas.The DoTT re-map might be a nice project for someone though, considering all the values are mapped in the original DoTT config, but the offsets are obviously slightly different.

That's cool. BTW: on my second game I wanted to explore the black market further in the near North, but it was only a ruin. Sad, because in my first game I started exploring it but but explored it not entirely. Are there more than one black market in the game, so I can get the Chance again or do I have to start over? And if an update Comes out, how can I Play further in my saved game if possible in the new Version? Ah and some Locations in the black market were closed, do they open later in the game?

hello.I'm a beginner when it comes to programming and honestly don't think I'll have the pacience for it but want to try anyway.I'd like to make a program that allows me to put text documents in it, then scan the document and delete lines.I have no idea how it would be done and don't want anyone to do it for me. something nice would be torches. For example, if someone let's say a Knight or so is on a quest and Comes into a dark place like a cave, he could sometimes find and use torches wich can help so he hadn't to wander in complete darkness. This could happen sometimes, not every time ofcourse.
