Instead, stand still and face it, don't move, and then press zed. @80, I agree try experiencing the game without a walkthrough. Discovery is all part of the fun. Don't even worry about missing anything because pathfinder will tell you where it all is. Even hidden items that sighted players can't see appear as sign posts. How to reach them though, is up to you. To see your pokemon levels simply go into the pokemon screen and press t. The scripts will read first the name of a pokemon, its hp, then its level and it will do this for all pokemon in your party. So it will sound like "dragonite: 289/301, 75.
