PanBB is set up in such a way that, theoretically, different people are allowed to administrate different rooms if they wish. As a result, admins are shown below each and every separate room. A bit messy, but you guys might like that a bit better since it would literally be generated from the forum's software and there wouldn't be any doubt or worry about someone accidentally forgetting a name or something. So you see, if you are a woman and you go to a therapy clinic, the general rule is that you will be attended by a woman who is a massage therapist unless requested otherwise by the female client.So you see, what i have posted above is just a joke which i have learned from a friend who is a blind massage therapist here in our area. But Thanks for your reply.BTW, It's an antivirus software.@Everyone: Okay guys, I found out what is wrong with NVDA and NOD32.The problem is that while "Self-Defence" is enabled in NOD32, NVDA cannot get info about the UI elements while JAWS can.I think ESET does not recognize NVDA and therefore does not allow it to get info about its UI elements.To solve this you should go in ESET advance setup and disable self-defence.Although this might be a security risk but we've got no other way and I think it's the only way until devs over at NVDA project think of something. If you want something inexpensive but still good, the Galaxy A series averages around 400-500 brand new here in Canada, not sure what it'd be in the states... and you even get a headphone jack! Re: What job could I hope to get with out a degree as a blind person Well, about the therapist thing.Not me, but I know a guy now retired who was an acupunturist, a seller of access technology, a computer support technition, a repair tech for technology, and a radio ham opperator.He also went to toastmasters and played the guitar and was totally blind.The reason he quit eventually were the long hours, meetings in the early hours of the morning for europe, and at weird times for the us, etc online.He took trips all over the place.So yeah it can be done.He still exists and I used him a lot.He was one of these guys that if you had a problem he could fix it or talk you through it over the phone.My dad was trying to upgrade some internal hardware, and put together a computer system.So I called this guy in the middle of the night and well lets just say once he knew what we were doing and with what he told us exactly where to put things and what should go where without being in front of the system or even seeing.I can't do that with hardware or without speech.This guy even did morce so yeah it can be done if you are that way inclined.Its not by everyone but it can be done.A translater or transcriber maybe. Canute Braille Display Development With Russell Couper With the Canute Braille Display inching its way closer to a commercial release, I got to digging into how it actually works. This led me around to a 36 minute presentation by Russell Couper from 2016, one of its developers [here] where he talks about the various prototypes and approaches they went though while working out of a local hacker space in Bristol.Interestingly, the device is mechanical and appears to use a stepper motor per horizontal row to rotate gears, with bars placed vertcally across the rows that slide forward and backward to configure the braille pins. It's definitely a bit grindy, but wouldn't you rather accomplish the task of playing it yourself? What is the obsession with getting other people's saved games? The hidden lounge has several groups of 100 coins in the doorway. There are lots more in these lounges but I don't seem to have the text file I wrote as I searched for them on this computer.The boss in the core can be beaten with Kelly at level 9 or so if you can pump 500 ~ 1000 coins into her defence stat.Once you get someone called Shauna a few dungeons from now, I would suggest giving her most of your coins and mastering her scrolls. None of them are super weak, and while her final one is hard it's very powerful, and she only learns four throughout the game.She will carry you through the last 1/3 of the game solo. There's also electrical engineering, repairing equipment, etc. There's been increasing friction between corporations and the right to repair movement of late, so there's likely some demand for independant repair technicians. Greater accessibility and methodologies in traditionally unconventional fields like plumbing, chefs, etc. would be good too, or maybe manufacturing, CNC, and working with 3D printers and such. There's also being an artist, musician, or doing acting/stand up performances. Live DnD games on video or podcasts have become a thing, in some cases they have actors on a stage play out the game as its happening, which can get pretty funny. Dragon's Crown by vanillaware Has anyone played this? It's by the same people who brought us odinsphere and muramasa.I'm currently playing this on my ps3 and made it through several missions. The dialogs and cutscenes are fully narrated like a real dnd campaign, and the gameplay is side scrolling hacknslash like capcom's dnd arcades. In instances where I need to hit a switch I just carefully click around the screen with the right stick and r3 and my partner will comment and activate it when its found. I just wish I knew what the menus were. Not sure about xcode's accessibility, though it does seem to have an [accessibility inspector] feature built in, it would be especially ironic though if the inspector and xcode itself were not accessible. If your more of the Python bent you could also try [Kivy] which seems to hook in with xcode, but that might not be as straight forward as you'd like. I used to date one, he was in the process of getting his certifications at the time, more accurately, and I know he would have been pissed if he saw this. My honest hope is that this dude was trolling.As to the topic in general, IT is a good field to get into if you don't want to go to college, but it can be difficult to get entry-level positions that aren't totally soul-crushing like help desk work, at least that's what I've heard. Then there's the blindness aspect of things that post 10 mentions, although that's pretty universal no matter what job you want. Seeing as how IT is the field I want to get into myself eventually, it's definitely a relief that my interests do lie in a field where college isn't absolutely necessary.
