hello Paul,the randomness thing can be fixed using the magical thing so called sound.you can do something like, a mixed sound of a dragon and a wolve in 1 seperat band so bats wont spawnits a bit clunky to go that root but its the easyest to add1 big suggestion though is to clone objects. so like if you have a building, and you want to coppy it over to an other map, you currontly have to buildthe same object again. you can simply coppy it, and drop it at a coordinate. this can be applyed for people, enemies and other such kindit should be in the featurelist of the full buildin my apinion

Sable doesn't really allow that, but if you make a file that only contains music and adjust it's volume to about 40 percent of your field music, then you can assign it as an audio clip for your intro.Once you do that Sable will ask for any text that should be spoken.Once that's entered Sable will ask if you want the audio clip to play while text is being read or not.See my suggestion above as to how this should be improved in the final release of Sable.Later!

@Robla, I actually like that this game does something different with both the ball sounds and with the tactics needed (the need to hit the ball slightly off centre to change it's direction is an interesting element to play with). After all, we've already got four or five straight up pong games of the ball get's quieter, bounce bounce variety, so why not have something different.Also, don't forget that this game is being played in some sort of futuristic city, so isn't likely standard table tennis either, hence the beeping sounds and so on.The ridiculously overthetop menu speech would be an issue for me if you couldn't skip through the menu more quickly, or if the menu had many items, but when there are just four items in the menu and you can go between them quite smoothly I don't see the problem myself.

I dont know, I think english suites the soul calibur series pretty well, especially since Europe plays such an important role in the saga of the two swords. I mean sure we have a diverse set of characters from various races and nationalities, but if going by the example you brought up with resident evil and devil may cry series, English just feels fitting. Additionally, I suspect that not many people would be speaking japanese in that area during that period as there was a great deal of racism still going around. When I play soul calibur, the first person that pops into my mind is sigfreed, since the sword fell into his hands thus making him the center piece to the story. When I think of tekken, the first two people that pop into my head are kazuya and heihachi. If you look at it from that prospective, and consider that only 3 or 4 if the fighters in the soul calibur series are actually Japanese, then english feels just right for the series. Having said that though, I'm glad that both languages are represented here in the end.

Have not tried the braille keyboards before. I used to be bothered by not being able to flick to the next key when I switch from my ipod to android phone, but that doesnt bother me anymore. Then I learned how to type with single taps and now I can type nearly accurately by just guessing where the letters and numbers are. It just takes practice. If there is an android keyboard that let's you flick between keys, I'd definitely like to know, but I do feel like I'm typing twice as fast as i used to.Someone said on a thread that they really liked the braille keyboard included with the talkback screenreader, and they were also coming from an apple divice. You could always give that a try.

Voice Assistant lets you turn quick typing on and off. And the Samsung keyboard is not the only one available. It's very easy to switch out keyboards when you want.

Hi guys. So, I played around with android yesterday, and I quite like it. However, I don’t like the keyboard that voice assistant uses. I like being able to flick through the keys, not tap to find them. Braille screen input, at least on iOS, is pure torture to use. I should be getting it today. If the Google pixel isn’t available, what other options are there?

Nothing wrong with that. Everyone has their own preferences. But as a Japanese speaker, I prefer to hear my games in Japanese unless it's a western made game or a Japanese made game with a specifically non Japanese theme like Resident Evil or Devil May cry. I've actually never played Soulcalibur in English now that I think about it. Even when I couldn't speak Japanese, that was always what they were set to because the family always prefered the original voices compared to the dubs.

Does va have that option to read unlabeled buttons like talkback does? I used to rely on audex for that, but since talkback gained that ability I dont bother with audex anymore and it has speeded things along nicely. I also dont mind angular jestures.

Background, in 1958, there were talks for the Brittish West Indies to join up with Canada and be their Hawai.West indiaConquer the Caribbean as Trinidad, Jamaica or Barbados.Background. Also in 58, England was doing what they did to America, Austraila and Canada. Making them into a federation then a dominion, then potentially a constitutional monarchy. Then, in 62, Jamaica left, then Trinidad then all we're left with is a cricket team. What Austrailia should have been.Conquer New Zealand, Figi and Somoa.Background. NZ was originally going to be apart of Aus, and it never happened.Bonjour, Churchill. Conquer France as Brittain, as well as Canada, India, Austrailia, the Caribbean and Brittish Africa, as well as the French Empire.Background. Knock knock. Whose there. Hitler who? Hitler gonna kill ya. Its World Wzr 2 and the Nazis invaded France. Yeah. If there's a long pause with no dialog right before a fight starts, that's usually your cue to select characters. And to my knowledge, story completion at least in MK 11 is only impacted by the way you fight the last match. Never finished Injustice 2, though.

I don't know about VA having more gestures, but it has multifinger gestures instead of angled ones, which may be preferable to some. It also has the universal start and stop double tap with two fingers found in IOS, and probably works better with things like Samsung's Camera and all the bixby related features. My one gripe is that custom actions like dismissing notifications and deleting emails don't seem to work.

Perhaps someone on an older version could give them a test?Oh and another thing, the original papa sangre doesn't even install for me, it gets to about 80 per sent, sits there for a long time and then vanishes. True, every version did have it selectable after Soul Calibur. But  The online hd edition of SC 2 released on psn did not have Japanese voice acting, I can confirm that. Quoted from TFG:Namco decided to present the console port of SC2 in all its original glory... and I approve. The game starts you out the same exact way as the original port - requiring you to unlock all the new characters, of course!  This might irk a few players, but personally, I love the nostalgia of unlocking characters (especially in one of my favorite games). It reminds you of the glory days of fighters, when "DLC" didn't exist and everything on the game disc was yours from the start!  Load times are also super fast across the board, which is always a nice plus. The only major complaint I have is that there's no Japanese audio option... which is pretty disappointing since it was something that the original console port had. However, I personally enjoy the English voices of SC2 (especially for the humor they bring), so all is not lost.

I've wanted to do that, have a little seen where the main character explains a bit about who he is and what he's doing before you take control of him. I just wasn't aware you could do that since the intro menu seems to only feature options for sound files.

Hay Paul, as always thanks for getting back.Regarding the intro bugs:If music is playing when text finishes, Sable lets the music finish before fading out and entering the map proper.If music finishes while text is speaking, it just stops until the text finishes, then the fade out happens.I think the reason these bugs exist is not really a fault of the engine, but rather a fault of how the creater; at this current stage; must incorporate it into a cutsceen.A way around this problem would be to code; yes I said the evil word; a system that lets creaters kind of stage a cutsceen in a timeline; as I believe I said a while back.This way, cutsceens and text could fire off while optional music plays in the background.this would get around sapi5 issues with speed, lag and the like.But while I'm here I need to report... another... bug!Yes, I said that to.I feel that I'm not really creating a test project at this point, but exposing every single flaw in Sable... sorry...Anyway, I made a text cutsceen and set it to fire when the player reaches a set posission on my map.The bug happened when I went into game mode to test it.The sceen fired, but not when I moved the character to the required spot, but when the map first loaded.After the issue, I returned to the title screen, went back into creater mode and found that the character was standing on the tile that fired the cutsceen.So I moved the character to the starting position on the map, saved it, returned back to the title screen, then repeated the test and the cutsceen fired correctly.Even if I can't show off my project, I'll at the vary least have some assets and planning done for the full release of Sable, and Sable; I hope; will be slightly better due to my feedback.Later!

that's true, you have to like the gameplay most in order to enjoy the story and other elements.going a little of-topic here, but in the ps2 era, one of my most beloved games is onimusha dawn of dreams. don't ask me, i just fall in love with the gameplay and mechanics of that title. and in 2018, through emulation and every bit of patience in my mind, i managed to play it from start to finish. it was hard, but that's the proof you really need to like what you're playing.

@4You outgrow W3schools very quickly but it's not terrible for those getting started.  There's a reason they exist and are the top google result for a lot of stuff, but the kind of documentation they offer is worse than useless once you outgrow them and they don't really teach anything modern or, well, correct as such (i.e. I don't think they even go into npm with their JS stuff and leave you with the impression that you will be fighting script tag urls for the rest of time).being able to consume formal documentation is a skill.  One that's required very early in your programming career, but people need bridges to it.  Plus it's yet another thing that falls under the "programmers at insert-super-young-age are rare" category since the vocabulary of most docs is well above what most adults who aren't programmers can handle, frankly.  W3 does a good job not using big words and being task oriented instead of just dumping information at people but they do a terrible job at basically literally anything else.@5Be careful with that attitude.  If something is teaching you wrong terms, you will be very confused when something else is using them the right way (and if w3 gets set and dictionary backward, that's a huge, huge problem, and I really hope they're not *that* bad).If you only care about exercises, you can find tons and tons of programming exercises by googling programming exercises.

Hi,@ömer, An option to assign an opening battle sound  to enemy bands is a really good idea. it would work really well for fixed bands where you know which enemies are going to be in which band. I think the only problem with this would be for non-fixed bands, where the enemies which appear in the band are completely random. I’ve created bands with 5 or 6 different enemies in the band, and sable will pick at random from that band. For example, there might be bats, wolves, orc’s, rats , dragons and goblins  set in that band, sable will then pick a selection each time I encounter that band, so I could possibly end up fighting 4 cave bats, or 2 wolves and a dragon, and I think it would be more difficult to select a set sound set for more random  enemy bands like these. I like the suggestion for fixed bands though, and if you have other ideas for the more random bands I’d be really interested in those as I think it would be a good feature to add@Threeblacknoises. Pleased  to hear you got your internet all up and running. I completely forgot, but the other day you asked about either creating enemies that didn’t miss, or weapons which couldn’t miss, sorry I can’t remember which it was. I said I’d come back to you on that, but I’ve been so busy I just totally forgot, sorry for that. The easiest  way to do this is increase  weapon or enemies accuracy. It’s somewhat over kill, but you could increase it to twenty and it would pretty much always hit , well unless you came across something pretty nasty hahaha. The other thing you could do with weapons is drop the critical hit chance. Again, its total over kill but you could drop the critical chance to 2 (it’s based on a dice roll, so you’d have  to be pretty unlucky to get a 1 out of  a d20, especially since that will include stat modifiers too) this would mean it would crit each time, therefore also hit each time too. hope both suggestions help.as for your suggestions.1.    The create new map option is a good idea.2.    Sized event triggers, This is a good idea. I’ve gotten around this in my own maps by creating  auto sized transitions, so when a player stands on any part of the sized transition it fires the cut scene. since I don’t actually want it to work like a sized transition, I’ve just added no sounds and set it to locked so the player can’t use it, once I’ve placed it I’ve just deleted the exit. What I’d like to do as a more long term solution is add the ability to size trigger objects which would be a  much more straight forward way of doing this, but I thought I’d mention it as a temporary work around solution.3.    The ability to reassign where doors point to might be more tricky, since they specifically work in set pairs. One alternative to this is to instead of using doors, possibly use fast travel points, or trigger objects which use the move to location?Regarding your bugs:1The wall thing is more of a design feature rather than a bug. Basically when you first lay a wall tile it starts in a deactivated state, this way it is possible to walk through it, as otherwise you would get stuck in it as you moved, it also reads the name of the collision/wall tile or its label, so even though you can walk through it you know what it is. For example if you were making a table and it placed actual impassable collision tiles you  wouldn’t be able to go back on yourself if you missed creating part of the table in  the middle. The hierarchy is one or more generators per source.  The generators are what plays and how (I've got plans for 4 or 5 at least that cover game use cases).  The source is where plus controls that apply to all of them (panning, volume, pause all the generators at once).They should only go on one source at a time but at the moment nothing validates this, so you'll get weird results if you screw that up.Buffers (fully decoded in-memory audio assets) will come at some point.  You'd use a buffer across multiple sources, with one BufferGenerator per source.  If that sounds complicated, there will be some sort of utility helper object that covers the common case of creating a source with a buffer and you can just use that instead of making a BufferGenerator and managing 3 objects.The reason this is weird is because I started Synthizer with all the weird streaming use cases people used to ask me for with Libaudioverse in mind, which made streaming easy and fully decoding the asset a little bit more work.

Supersighted games Launcher. The wonderdrug that cures all your drm rage...All kidding aside, I agree Rockstar Games Launcher is extremely overkill. Is ti accessible? Yes, more so than older Steam was, but usable? Absolutely not.It's fair to note, though, that while Rockstar games is definitely at fault for the amount of captchas deployed, the your system may be sending automated quiries is entirely a Google fault. Literally anything that isn't logged into your google account, i.e. Brave/tore in particular, runs this risk. The luxury of being able to auto-click is Google-specific, and is just a way for them to track your web activity. On non-Google/non-sanctioned browsers, you always have to complete the challenge, or it doesn't even let you. AS to why this is happening on the launcher i have no idea, that's supposed to be a Chrome web-wrapper after all.

It's easy to battle unreachable mobs if you have means of attacking from a far. They may be in places you can't go to at that moment, like across deep water and such. Use range weapons, range magic, throw stones...etc etc etc.

Hi.well I need to get my controler working with dolphin, if that works I might be able to play the weaponmaster mode in sc 2, just need to look how well the OCR works, it's quite a pain in the ass with emulators, accept the ppsspp one.Greetings Moritz.

Stair dancing and door dancing are only possible if you see one near yourself, sadly we can not see the whole map at a glance and determine where's the nearest staircase. The excluded travel areas are a pain. Since either you wait till the cloud dissipates, or if you have enough health, you can just walk through it and continue autoexplore when you passed the area in question. Note that is only as a last resort.

Honestly it's fine. The faster beeping just means the ball is headed your way. The reason beeps are used is for the retro pong aesthetic. We did not have ball sound on the atari 2600. The reason there are no instructions on how to hit the ball is because all you need to do is center it. It's not hard to understand. And the style of the menu announcements is just another one of the game's quarks. Perhaps it's just not your type of game, but really it's fine, and they have already made improvements to the original.  If you want something different go play dragon pong or something. That one actually has ball sounds, but less personality in my opinion.
