What would you say is the difference between ruby and Node in conventions. anyone using Node for back end web development?
anyone using Node for back end web development? how hard is it to learn. Do the conventions for other programing languages still mostly apply? Would it be a good starter language for someone who seeks to develop a website. Is it a good idea for creating a legal terminology data base? Good idea for a lucrative side gig in programing!
Good idea for a lucrative side gig in programing! Considering the current situation we all find ourselves in and the time some of us have free what would you all consider might be a good programing language to learn. I am in to this for the profit, just to make that clear. I would seriously appreciate any advice as to what I should choose and why. I have found the resources posted in the sticky topic and I will read them all. I just need some advice as to where this can provide some money and what language to choose. Thank you all for the help, I would like to be able to support myself completely just in case my parents can not do their job any more. The more ideas and opinions the better. Re: NVDA Addon for page and line count!
Re: NVDA Addon for page and line count! wow this must have been a horrible idea to post here. sorry guys. I'll shut up now lol. NVDA Addon for page and line count!
NVDA Addon for page and line count! I just had this idea for a cool NVDA Addon that would help many people get the exact page count they need for their university papers. Every time you press enter the addon plays a sound. The lower we go on the page the lower the sound of the typewriter will be. If we are typing and go past one line it will also make that sound. It would also report the number of pages every time it changed. This is not done by NVDA when in microsoft word. When out of brows mode it works. On apps like Q Read and other text fields. I want it to work in word as well. This is only an idea you guys can go nuts with it. I have no idea how to program. Three instances of NVDA at the same time causing problems!
Three instances of NVDA at the same time causing problems! I was taking my test at a university and they provided a computer with NVDA. It was a very new desktop running windows 10 and mostly did not cause problems. I was happily taking my test which was 10 essay questions! I had just finished and poof!!The computer freezes, after a while the tech support was called and they were able to fix the issue and use the recovery thing word to get my awesome test back!We never knew what went wrong but we found that NVDA was running twice, how is this possible. They went in to the task manager and told me that NVDA had three instances going on at the same time. First of all how can this happen and how does it? Would this cause a computer to freeze like a boss or not! How can NVDA be improved so that it detects when more than one instance is running at the same time. Have any of you had this happen before? Help is well appreciated. Thank you.
