Re: Question Regarding Linux

@10,Are you running WSL1 or 2? i am still running 1 because I just use a couple of command line programs, and I haven't seen a real need to upgrade yet.

Re: What do you guys think of Pascal, in terms of accessibility and modern

I took a college course in Turbo Pascal back in 2008 or so. At the time, I didn't know of a command line compiler, so I used the IDE that the college told us about. It was a DOS program, and it took me a week to figure out how to make JAWS work with it. Once I figured that out, it worked really well. If you are able to get it to work with a command line compiler, do it. I wish I had known about one at the time.

Re: Your thoughts on VS Code

Personally, I didn't like it very much. It worked fine, and I didn't have any accessibility issues, but I mainly just write Markdown, and I don't write any programming code. It felt like editing inside a webpage, so I returned to Notepad++. I think if you do a lot of coding, it will work fine. It just seemed a little heavy for my needs.

Re: Accessible markdown Editor for Documentation

I also use Notepad and Pandoc.  I posted a topic last year asking what text editor people were using, and I got several good ones from that post. I found as I tried each one, they either didn’t work the way I wanted, or they had features I didn’t use. I eventually settled on notepad. I also use TinySpell to check my spelling in Notepad.

Re: notebooks?

I used to use Notepad++, but I switched to Jarte several months ago. I use more features of Jarte, and Jarte still lets me edit files in plain text format. i even write Markdown with it.

I have used Codeblocks for C++ stuff in the past. This was in 2009, so I don't evenknow if Codeblocks is still around.

Hello,I'm not a developer, but I have seen some tutorials over on the AppleVis website. From what I gathered, Xcode is very complicated. You might want to check there.
