@5, yes, it's not supported anymore.@4, the problem is that the tiles as lain out in the mapmaker folder are different from in the main version, even layout wise, so I'd need to do some serious work to convert it all. Also, how do I test out the amp without reloading the entire server? Also also, do you know how to load a map when you open the mapmaker? Because when I open it, it is always trying to create a new one.

Englishizing Steam?

Hi. I've been trying to install Steam for a couple days, but for some reason it won't install in English, even when the Radio Button Labeled English is checked. The anoying thing is that I installed it on another computer and it worked the first time. I didn nothing different. Any suggestions on how to get it set to English?

I uninstalled, Clean my Registry, turns out there were a couple error messages in there, fixed them, reinstallled into C:, didn't work, reinstall into Downloads, didn't work... What the hell?

So a gun tail is just meant to be the sound of the shot rolling off of the surroundings? So what do you guys think is the best way to pull this off? A lot of libraries have gunshot sounds with a huge amount of reverb on them, so it's kind of hard to find good gunshots that have seperted tails.

Hello,So I've been trying to nail this for a very long time, and I can't find many articles on the Internet about Gun Tails or similar audio techniques. However, I'd like to ask what you guys prefer?Are you complacent with the style of firearms and environment that we've seen in FPS games lately like Redspot, TK or any of the other concept clones? Or, would you like us to atempt to make audio akin to the Battlefield series?If you'd choose the second option, please provide information and ideas so that developers like myself can atempt to put this information into use to force our sound design into a new age, an age where we actually try to make things sound realistic.

I agree with Amerikranian's latest post wholeheartedly. You can make a game like that without releasing it and making it into a big deal, that's why they're used as sample programs while learning.The only reason I said you sounded a bit harsh was when I whent over your post again with the perspective of some of these developers and or people who don't use such diction and writing structure. You're kind of in a similar boat with Jayde, Dark, Octurnus, etc, where you write with very large and complicated words, but you tend to go a little overboard. I personally enjoy that writing style, and I'm able to understand you, but that's also because that's how I strive to write. A lot of people don't even capitalize there sentences.I'm also not a person to dance around things, much the opposite, in fact. However, I only said you were harsh when looking through that perspective.

The quest here isn't to get sighted people or more people to play, it's to get these people to stop making the same game and then feeling like they're the coolest person in th world because they did something that's already been done before.Also, Conner. The whole menu thing was just an example of how these developers don't even bother to change things up a little, they all use the same general layout for menus, the same wording for everything, the same types of items.Honestly, if a game like this just used checkboxes or sliders or something like that for there settings instead of hardcoding them all, I'd be a lot more supportive. As it is now, my main issue is that these people don't even try to make things feel different.

I'm not a very nice person, but you could have said that in a more diplomatic way.@Everyone else, the thing is, these complicated mechanics ren't beyond an actual developers abilities. If you have actual experience in the field, then you should be able to make a good amount of what these people want. However, if you're not capable, then why are you making games like this? Look at Aprones games, as has been said before, or any of the older games for the most part.I've seen too many people do this to be positive toward them, I'd really much rather have quality over quantity.

As far as I know, that's not a thing, however, you can quite easily do math and get a general area of how much they have, although this gets more of a range as the enemies level. E.G:You hit a bear with %100 health with some weapon that does 300 damage, that takes them to %75. Therefor, you know that they have 1200 maximum heakth, -300 is 900 health remaining.

You can equip someone with a Ring of the Wraith or something, it gives like 100 percent vulnerability to everything, but 70 evation, and then just put on like two more clothing pieces, and the chance to hit them is like 1 in 250 as best as I can tell. It's rediculous, even with level 50 dragons.

I'm not going to give much more on the topic as what the mentioned people have said pretty much sums it up.Reguarding Jimmy's last post, there's a fine line there. I personally believe, if this isn't already a thing, that people who come back from a ban should be on a watchlist of sorts until, A: A set amount of time elapses, or B: They proove themselves worthy to be a member again. The problem is that some people just seem to get some perverse pleasure from making other people feel like they are less than others for things that they one, have no control over, two, have expressed remorse and been dealt suitable punishment for, or three, just plain aren't in the wrong. @Cmary, why would it be cheating though? Make lot's of spots on the map for ground cover, so you could hide underneath them, make AntiAircraft weapons so that the main point of aircraft combat would be picking off stragglers running from cover to cover and aircraft to aircraft combat, it's really not that hard.I would recommend working on this further before you release it, because the beta was just, not original.

@op, heh heh heh heh heh! You have unleashed the beast of ideas! Ready your brain capacitors!Multiple forms of forcefield, lowest grade just hurts you and pushes you back from the way you came. Another low grade will faze out for a couple seconds when you touch it, but still do a bunch of damage. Higher ones can throw you in different directions while still doing massive damage.Spikes, and or blades, that move upward, downward, or in straight directions, preferrably slamming into a wall or other structure to offer sound aid on there trajectory.Long range enemies who run around the parameter of the map and shoot, throw, etc.Water: You can walk in it, but it's super slow. You can dive, although there is patches of water that slowly expand that do damage when you touch it, poisoned. Deep in the water are fish, some enemies, and some that don't do anything, and you lose some points when you hit it. Deeper is pearls, you can hold up to 5 of these at a time, and each one you hold makes you run %10 faster or so. Picking one up gives you 25 points, and depositing them in a randomly placed counter will give you 50 points. While holding a pearl, you take 1.5 times extra damage per pearl, and your attacks do %5 less damage per pearl. All of these symptoms fade once you place pearls in the counter.Every now and then a lightning strike will occur somewhere near you, it has a 50 percent chance to occur on your tile, otherwise it happens somewhere within 50 tiles of you. The strike will play a storm rumbling of thunder, and then... Boom! If you are within 5 tiles of it when it hits the ground, you take massive damage, are stunned for 15 seconds, and your speed is reduced by %10 for 30 more seconds. Each pearl that you carry increases the chance for the lightning to occur on your tile by 10. This, obviously, goes away when you put the pearls in the counter. When a lightning bolt hits the ground, it spawns a fire.Fires: Fires will slowly spread over flamable surfaces, doing 10*the fire's radius damage, adjust based on player's max health in your game, meant to be extremely dehabilitating.Rocks: These will fall from about 10 tiles in the air, maybe more depending on how high you can jump and stuff. If you are on the same tile as them, you take a bunch of damage, and you are stunned for 2.5 seconds.If the rocks land, they can drop items. These range from a couple points, to powerups, to things that spawn other things.Powerups: Each of these automatically give 45 points when you pick them up.Superspeed: Increases your speed by %30 or so for 30 to 45 seconsd, maybe randomize it?Superjump: Increases jump height by 3 to 5 for 30 seconds.Rockstorm: Makes a bunch of rocks fall real fast. HI!So I did buy Manamon a while ago, but, this was back when I was stupid and didn't really know things about computers so I didn't back it up, I lost the key with a computer switch.Now, I would just use the crack that is available online, and I'll admit, I did use it a few times on Manamon, because I had already bough it and I was not going to pay for that again, but one problem. Claymores are rather large curved swords if I remember correct, similar to falcheons. I don't remember if the game takes into acount weapon weight, but that could have something to do with it.

You can't drink straight from salt water sources, like a river. It has to be clean isolated water like a pond.You should drink till you are at 0.If you are hot, you need to cool down. Wear thinnner clothing, drink some water, eat some ice... There's many ways.

Ug, don't know much about aviation, but tdv is easier, and seems to be a little more realistic.Taking off is easy. Flying is easy. Fighting is easy. Landing is a little harder.Only problem is there's hardly any land.Like, there's free flights, but no runways, or anything like that, you just kinda take off.

So I know this is kicking a dead and decomposing horse, and I have asked this before, but I've almost beaten the game like 10 times, not exagerating, and something or other has happened to my file or computer.If anyone could give something, at minimum, past the 5th stadium, or whitch ever is close to the shadow kingdom, I can't remember for the life of me, it's been so long because I haven't had motivation to play it cause I was pretty sure I'd loose it after 2 weeks of hard grinding and I'd be sad.
