unzipping folders

Anyone know how to unzip folders in 7Zip? Permanintly? It's frustrateing, and I have work I need to do in the file, but I had to re-download it because of quicktest updates, and now it's zipped, and I can't figure out how to unzip it permanintly. All the help I get involves mouse clicks, which doesn't help me, at all.

A, true.Normally I just use destroyers in packs to hunt down fleets of enemies, then bring up larger fleets. Gets annoying when you have like 50 destroyers though, then they get scattered by some hazard.Only other problem I have with the game is that you can't create as many fleets as you want without the numbers going up.Example, your fleet 19 gets destroyed. You should be able to re-form that fleet, 19, the next time you create a new fleet. As it is, you will get fleet 20, and if you murge that fleet with another one, next time you break ships off, or create a new fleet, you get fleet 21.Would be nice to have dedicated planetary defense options, like being able to build defences, or have ground troops you can drop from your ships to either defend your planet, or attack the enemie's ground troops before you can actually colonize the place.

Slightly frustrateing, but meh, I can deal.Second question.How does 1 unzip WinRar files, so they stay unzipped? Currently, I have Win-Rar, but it seems to just open the files, then I have to save the changes when I leave the file folder, and it stayes zippeed.Also worried that 1 day am going to try to play Warsim, and the stupid trial version will not let me open it.Winzip is off, or mabie that was just "the waists... In Warsim, there is this door that I am trying to open.I think it requires you to go look at 2 murils, which I do. However, when I type in the numbers I get, the combonation does not seem to work.I go Yellow, then Red.Could anyone tell me if I am doing something wrong, and how to fix it?Also, I wish you could recruit vampires from "the city of stone" That would be quite cool.

Didn't the missile bug have to do with graphics or something?I think it had to do with the graphics messing up or something, makes you wish someone would just put a blind mode, where all the graphics got removed. From what I have heard, they were not that good anyway.Also, I just looked and unless I am mistaken, GOG seems to have either lost, or discontinued Smugglers Secession.Also, how to re-get a game if you baught it off of GOG? If I have Secession, will just play around with it instead of buying Invasion...

Well, first, as far as I know only Secession and Invasion actually are accessible. I think there is a manual for useing the game.Also, you useing NVDA, or Jaws? You have to, I believe, change cursers. If your useing Jaws, you press the... "Jaws curser tell you can navigate. Then, the Braket keys, or the trackpad is used to click on stuff.

I use jaws, so mabie it's different.Mostly I used the pad to click on stuff, would nav through the menues, also. "Object review?That the thing when you switch from PC curser, to invis curser?Yeah, the missiles crashing was why I gave it up, since my stratagy was to use the rad missiles to get the crews down on larger vessels before boarding them.I will try to download New Horizens again, though when I click the download link, nothing seems to happen, though I just updated this computer, so mabie some new thing is messing with it.

On the subject of getting smugglers bac, or at least playing the demos of Secession and Invasion, where would I get them? Steam... Makes me want to take a very large and very heavy rench to the program... I don't like it at all.I don't think GOG has a demo, and when I try to get the demo off the sight, it gives me a "404 not found message.Trying to decide which is better, again.

I am trying to download New Horizons, but it's shunting me to google drives for some stupid reason.I did like Smugglers, think it was sucession, but it kept crashing sometimes when I fired missiles at other ships, and that miffed me. Might play it again, but will have to get it back since I somehow lost it at some point. Good game mostly though. I had to use my trackpad for most of the stuff, but you get used to that, and it's only for clicking, you use the arrows for menues, or that is what I can remember.

True. Or, there are skills that should be able to rizen, but the game won't let you, such as summon bones, double attack and 1 or 2 others.A bit off topic, but how do you get it to send you an Emale when a new message comes in? I used to know how to do that, but now I can't, and it would be less work just clicking on a link in an Emale to get to here instead of going through Audiogames, the forum, then scroling through 3 or 4 topics, especially since I have multaple topics open now.

Anyone what is going on with the Warloards maps?I have the I think it's version 5, and I like what is being done with the Silven Elves, though for what ever reason I can't seem to req the heavy infintry.I hope the rest of the factions get a revamp like the Silven Elves seem to be getting.

I did wonder what the plague card did, but need people to buy my stuff.Also, What floor past the fifth can you get people off of? I remember I got someone off the second, forth or fifth, and something below 10 but can't remember what. Running around floor 22 without a healer, got killed running the mearors. Forgot the Litch got canned or something.

Thanks.I have tried Monk Assasson, and it seems to do well, though not quite sure if when I hike critical hit up to max I will get critical hits a lot. Also, you have to make sure you have some sort of tank, or your pet is going to get killed at some point.Pitty we can't raise "summon bones, or animate zombies. Never understood that, Necromancers. Dead. Zombies are dead... O well.

Ugg, let me do this again. Pressed enter before I was finished.Anyway, I wish that Warlords and other maps with multaple different speacies to choose from had a bit more vareation in their units. You have, light infintry, heavy infintry, cavalry and such for all units. This is from Warlords version 2, not 5, though that one seems to be in the develupment stage at the mmoment.Also, spasificly for undead, your zomby lights become basicly useless after the beginning of the game, because there so slow. Why not have some necromancer/ Litch spell to raise dead? That's what they basicly are there for anyway, to bring the corpses of the enemies back to life. Mabie have a spell to spawn some units of zombies, or even Skeleton leagen where the unit died, if it is a currently empty square, or your units are on it?I do like the idea of different speeds for units, since now all the faster units have to go along slower to cover the slower units and such.Also, I think this was starting in WL 5, but mabie have each "unit as we know them now, consist of multaple soldiers, like the Warhammer fantasy stuff, you have 1 moddle, that reps something like 120, but you can scale it to reflect the different units of the different factions, like Elvs have less but are better fighters, undead zombies have more per unit, stuff like that.Anyway, just some thoughts. I like thinking about stuff like this, so... Anyway.

I couldn't get the version linked on page 1 to work, but I still have another one so that's OK for now.Though, for maps like Warlords, with multaple races you can choose from, I wish the units had more abilities and stuff to their race. Like, Humans and Terrens work fine, there basicly the same speacies

The quests are good, but a lot of the stuff is unuseable unless your a spasific class.Also, for the people with the tactal battle scripts linked in their posts, do you have maps for them, or just the scripts? Always looking for more good maps for TB.

Tried doing that, going to come back in a month or so, to much of a pane right now.Dam good game, just getting into it is rather frustrateing. Also, when I recomended that it might help if they put up a character consept example, like the profiles they closed my support request. So...*sigh* I get what their trying to do, it's just their not very clear on it, and they don't seem very motivated to make it clearer when people who try tot enter the game tell them that stuff is not very clear.

Could anyone give me an example of a character consept please? Mine seem to  suck. Also, now they put a time limit on when I can post my next one. Though, the last 2 I posted wwer about helping people and exploration, so...Almost wondering if I should just delete my char and come back in like a year or something, though I have nothing like that to play in the meentime, mabie Miriani, but it's... Toxic, and it doesn't have the alt manual controls, and I hate using the keypad to move then switching back to fire my weapons in ship combat.Frustrateing.Mabie it's because I have a profile written out all ready, but not sure how to bring that down into a single consept?

Felo, as in the 6 legged cat things.At this point, I think that it's more that their defenission of a character consept and mine are rather different. Wish they had an example of what they wanted like the profiles, would make stuff a lot easier to understand. Mabie will sudgest that in my next support reply thing.

From what I have seen, the word cap is something like 35 words? Yeah, they can be a tad pickey. Though, in their defense, it is a RP intensive game, so you kind of need all your stuff fleshed out.But yeah, I killed 1 of my Felo once, and 1 of the staff showed up on my ship to ask me why. Wanted to see what it would do, feel sort of bad about it now though. It didn't do anything to me...Thanks for all your thoughts, will take them into account. Smiley.

Speaking of TB, I just got my laptop fixed, and tried to play the game, but it keeps giving me an arror. I have the win-zip arcive, so it is not that. Anyone have an ideas as to what I can do to play it again? It is a good game, and I finaly got hold of some new, for me, map packs.

Cleening up Smugglers 5

Does anyone know where that patch for Smugglers 5 where it is supposed to cleen up some of the bugs and stuff that keep popping up in the full version, like not being able to click on lifepods, and the game crashing when you shoot something with an advanced missile, went? I can't seem to find it anymore, and would like to run it to try and cleen this up.

I got the game. Turns out that the mane reason I couldn't get onto the sight was because I somehow had missed where it said that the username I tried was allready taken, so never created an account. Got that figured out now, now just have to figure out why it will not let me sellect skills after I get to the correct level, but will talk about that in another topic. Thankyou for all the help.

The BMT sight that the link sends you to no longer sells the game. I sent an Email to Nielsbauer about it, but last time I checked a copple weeks ago, the link had not changed. No, it should not be this much trouble to buy a game.

Is it worth getting Steem.

Is it worth getting steem? I am totally blind, and I use Jaws. I want to get steem because there is a spasific game that I like, and you can get it with steem, and any other way I have tried to get a hold of it has ended up at a dead end, but I want to know if it is worth getting the application. I got it before, and it was completely inaccessible, but some people say that they can use it, to some extent.

At the moment, I just want to be able to download and play the game, without having to read a guide for a new program. Just download the game, stick it in my games folder, and play tell I have mastered every single profession, then, mabie, I will look into Invasion. Probubly. Unfortunitly, I either have to find a steem guide, not knowing what I am getting into, or troll through a bunch of pointless captchas and other frustrations on another sight, and I don't even know for sure if I have an account on it. Grrr.

I wish the Develuper would just have done a buy page, cut out the middle person, and no doubt, asaved the money he was paying to the middle person. I wish Gog.com did not have so many dam Capchas. Especialy considering that for the most part, they don't do anything anymore, since people can program robots to get around the capthcas.

You tried joining your alliance when talking to your local governer? Other than that, I would just plunder ships for cargo, and then sell it. Might want to find enemies to do that with though, since attacking your own will get you flagged rather quickly.
