Haha thanks. Honestly the trick is learning how to quickly deal with the start of the wave. I just played a quick round before and even then got to like 13/14, which was really only interrupted because I had to plug in my laptop. But yeah. Definitely a bit of a fun time waster for sure.

Re: Pokémon access

I beat blue just last week. I'll freely admit that I totally cheat the "push boulder into X/Y/Z" puzzles, as well as the switchy arrow thing and the more intense version of that in Sabrina's Gym. They're definitely doable if you have all the time and patients in the world, but they're something that a sighted person can figure out pretty quickly. Ice Path in Crystal ramps the boulder thing up to 11 (but again for the average sighted player isn't too difficult).I'm now on Crystal and just beat Whitney's gym last night, so that's a thing. It was awesome to finally play gen 1, but definitely glad to be done with it just because of how broken it is. lol

Re: A Tempest Season, a new, special unique fantasy mud

Post 8 literally asks about crafting, please learn to read back through posts.I'm quite enjoying this mud as well and don't see myself getting bored any time soon. There is so much to try. Quests so far are generally things like, *kill one or more of these kinds of monsters in this area*. There are other kinds I've encountered though in the form of fetch quests. Someone who's more qualified in that area can probably do a better job of answering that. There's so much potential with this mud though! While the game is considered RP and its best to do that, admins also are pretty relaxed about it generally. Really, they just want everyone to have fun. We requested a change to have the risk system read out to us in the screen reader prompt maybe 2 days ago? It just got added today. Actually it was added earlier, but the game updated today. So again, admins are quite willing to listen.

Re: Dreamland-official version

Curious. How many of you guys are playing regularly? I haven't checked this topic much, but honestly most of what I see are people asking questions because they're having trouble with the game, the sign up, etc. I only ask because I'm wondering if it's worth bothering? I'd love to see games like this with a steady western market, though honestly for a lot of people it feels like more trouble than it's worth. That's not meant to detract from the game. If you're playing and having fun, hell yeah. I'd love to see some gameplay stuff. Otherwise I guess I'll just carry on with my life. lol

Re: Battle Of Armageddon: a forgotten survival horror

Yeah, amen with that. I'm really not sure what the point of designing it that way was? It's truly a shame, because as I said earlier, I do like this game. It's just seriously flawed. Now for my next question. I'm in chapter 3 (I think?) At least, if we're going by each cut scene being the intro to a new chapter. I spoke to a man who told me I had to go and get into some village and I think, something about a palace? Seemingly, the only entrance there goes into this like, 3x3 area that describes some sort of drawing around some stones. The problem is, I literally can't do a thing once I'm in there. I can move around, but not sure how to interact with things? Unless I need to go somewhere else first and I'm missing something. In the area with the man, I was told there was only 1 exit and it definitely appears that way.

What's the best way for us to buy the game? I was trying to talk to Nuno about it, but yeah guess he's been busy or something. Despite it's flaws, I honestly do like this game. Probably because it's something that I have to give more than 5 minutes thought to. Probably the closest thing I can compare it to is something like Resident Evil 1. You don't know where your next supply of ammo will be, so sometimes you have to be smart and conserve. Then you get certain things like the ice path in chapter 2. That took me a long time to get through, probably largely because of the instant death/having to restart and reload my save, every. Single. Time. It's something I know I'll be able to look back on though later and remember it's frustrations, etc. I dunno, I severely wish we had more stuff like this.

So, I fixed my clipreader issue. Turns out I was using a super super old version of SayTools from 10 plus years ago somehow. It took a little digging to find though. I'm pretty sure I grabbed the original link for what turned out to be version 1.5 from one of the articles on installing and translating games. So for reference, if anyone else happens to run into this issue while trying to set up this game, SayTools 2.1:https://www.dropbox.com/s/y9vgu37kukorg … p.exe?dl=1

***SPOILERS***Use it on the tree and climb up. Then, retract the mountain lock and put your weapon away. Once you've done that, jump right. Collect all the Apples, which give you a little hp and stamina. Once you've gotten the last apple, deploy the lock (fine, it's basically a grappling hook) and climb back down. If you were to take anymore steps you would have fallen off the tree. If you've done this right you should here some music. I'll let you figure it out from there. Yeah I retract that statement of not needing clipreader, i still for the life of me can't figure out why it doesn't actually read the clipboard for me so I kinda forgot about it. I wish I knew how to code, I feel like it'd take like 2 seconds to make an addon that just auto reads text you copy to the clipboard. lol

I'm starting a guide on this game that I'm adding to as I'm playing it, if enough people would be interested. Ultimately I'd love to get in as many secrets as I can, so if anyone wants to help out let me know. I understand why traps are the way they are, but when you literally have no choice but to step on different tiles and die just so you can figure out where is and isn't safe, then having to restart the entire game, potentially having to get back to the same spot again and again, it does get a little old. Also having to press enter on literally every square just to find hidden items. I guess they call them hidden items for a reason though... shrug. I'll forgive the game it's shortcomings though, because we really don't have anything else right now to compare it to.

Re: VGStorm Presents Manamon, a new fully featured RPG!

Basically, keep a well balanced team (within 5 levels.) I haven't beaten the game yet, but I don't think I'm terribly far. I'm up to the bay after Snowstar (I'm guessing that's a reference to Snowbelle city from Pokemon X/Y.)My highest is level 54 and my lowest is 52, so I might have gone a little overkill. There were certain spots I ground just so I wouldn't fall into the trap later on of "oh shit, you're too under leveled." I might post a separate topic with my thoughts on the game after I've beaten it. Admittedly at first I was kind of skeptical just because of how much it borrows from Pokemon, but the more I play, the more I can see what Aaron was trying to do. Between keeping teams balanced and having a variety of type coverage, you should be good. Don't be afraid to play around and see what works for you. Jayde's guide is pretty good in that regard, though it's honestly not something I've followed a ton of just because I like playing around and finding out these things for myself.

Re: Chinese swordsmen games Lingyun immortal Brigade

pay to play micro transactions are nothing new in the gaming world by this point, Battlefield 2 anyone? Seriously just go look at Metal Gear survive, you have to pay 10 bucks for an extra save slot. Actually there's so many wacky transactions in that game. Whenever/if I ever develop a game I'll be sure to put a pay to pause feature in there. Yeah ROTK probably would've been more fun personally if it literally wasn't just, do this 50 times to get to the next level. Between that and the less than stable connection, not to mention all the trouble a lot of english players had trying to get it to work, it's no surprise it never really took off here.

Re: Redspot, blood and paril. First public beta released!

I dunno about everyone else, but I'd love to see the option of a casual deathmatch mode for those who just want to get on and shoot it out with a couple of mates. Maybe you could limit shields to 50 and health to like 2000 or something. The bases seem cool for people who want to go full out, but the game honestly seems to be more of a grind fest than anything else and it kinda kills any real excitement when you've just respawned and someone with like 3000 shields and 20k hp comes and wrecks your day.

Yeah grinding the omega took me maybe 5 days just casually. I used the electric stick for like the first 3 playthroughs until I lost my save. I do wish more of the weapons actually had more of a use, most of them seem to be just gimmics to play around with.

I haven't played with the new battle cards yet, but this will give me an excuse to reconstruct literally all of my decks. I'm actually more excited to see some new worlds/games because I've beaten battle to death. That being said it can still be fun, but I don't play battle nearly as much now. I'm all in favour of more things to unlock, I'm wondering if that is the eventual plan as 25 to 50 to like... 250 gems seems a bit of a steep curve. At least when you've unlocked pretty much everything else. Only games I don't have unlocked are the majority of the maths ones, and maybe like 2 misc minigames? I love being able to tell what ones that have bonus games now.

for the GC I just use a basic ice deck that I rigged together like 10 versions ago. That being said all my decks are super out of date. I have most of the new cards, I still need to run through and get the latest one from the last version or so. There's definitely room for serious type crunching, but the fact is that the GC is completely random each time so there's that.
