I agree. If this log does exist, I will go through very strict measures to make sure that this doesnt happen again. Yes, it is true that our source code was in a dropbox folder, but I have gone in and removed my source from there. Problem 1 solved. If this log does actually exist, I will change the way passwords are stored. Yes, characters will need to be recreated, but hey, wouldnt we rather be safe then sorry?

OK, so heres the deal.I did in fact get hacked. Well, at least, thats what it looks like. The whole bgt scripts folder has been compromised. There was in fact a log file in there with passwords in it, but the only reason it was in there was because there were people forgetting their passwords and I was retrieving them. Yes, I am aware that this is not smart and that probably nobody will play UP again, but hey, who expects to get hacked. I will no longer be having my sourcecode in a dropbox folder. Do as you will.

If I did make it payed, it would be a one-time payment. If you were on UP yesterday, I made an example of what could happen if I eft the game free. It was quite hectic. But if you guys dont like the idea, then I wont do it.About the ultraDollars, I kinda dont want to do that because then that just makes the game all that more unfair. You get like a whole bunch of that, buy whatever you want, and then its just how it was before.

Hi all,So I was thinking. Im sure a lot of you remember back to UltraPower even before 1.0. Back at that time, I wasnt the most mature of people, and I made a few bad decissions. One of those being, I made the beta, payed. The freeking stupid crashy beta was payed. And I kept telling yall, that there were features that I wanted to add once I got more experience. One of the first being more than one map. Sure, Sam may have given me that code, but back at that time, that feature wasnt even thinkable. Im really proud of where UP is today, and that is mainly thanks to you guys, who didnt entirely give up on this game, who donated, though not very often, but enough to give me boosts every once in a while, and now, after 9 long months, UP is finally very very close to how I dreamed that first version would be so long ago. I cant believe UP has gone this far. Gosh I cant think of how many times I wanted to throw this project down on 
 the ground and say, ya know what, screw it. But, I eventually returned to coding every time because of people like you who continuously played and asked me to add things and told me to keep going. Now, I have another idea. I would like to make this game payed again, but only with your permission. What do you think? Is this a good idea? Bad one? How much should I charge if a good one? How much would you pay for a game like this? Just some thaughts that are going through my head, and rather than jumping right in, Im taking a step back and requesting input. Thank you guys very much for staying with me while I figure this out. Without that, we wouldnt be where we are today.

Hi folks,Yes, I do know that this is very laggy. Unfortunately, I think it has to do with my bullet code. I dont think there is much I can do about this, because Im not sure what is lagging it so hard. I dont think theres anything that could. Its weird, and Ive tried a few ways of getting rid of it, all of which have failed. Im sorry but until I can come up with a propper fix for it, itll be laggy with more than 5 on. Rather than inact the player limit on you, Ive decided to let you connect, but in addition you have the lag. Sorry again.

OK, first off, let me start by saying this. It was not only me who created this project. It was me and Sam combined. And it does have jaws and sapi support. I will not be adding the arrow keys for turning, just because the current system is easy enough as it is, I would think. However, I had a few other ideas if you guys dont think so. I could use arrows for turning, A and D for turning in a circle, and Shift+A and Shift+D for snapping to a direction. Or, I could do arrows for turning, Control+Arrows for snapping, and shift+arrows for turning. Just some thaughts.

Terminator, the answer is no. To everyone else, I have completely been rewriting the admin system. Now, it is complete, and will now take form. The older admins have now been purged, and the new admin listing will now begin. Heres how this all works.*Builders: They can only build on the map.*Administrators: They can kick people, and build, get some other info. They can however, not ban or unban people.*Chief Moderators: They can do basically everything that the older admins could do, but you wont see too many of those.Someone with a rank will be shown as that rank when checking online players, for example, Chief Moderator mason (masonasons) level 440, builder random_player level 95. The nicknames are protected so these rank names cannot be used as nicknames, so no confusion with that. Hope this helps lots.

And I would rebuild the map if I knew that people werent going to randomly change it. But I need these admimns so I can take breaks and not always be on the game, if you see what I mean. I dont plan to make it so you can host your own servers, simply because it would be harder for people to know when servers are on etc etc. Ive just made it so theres always a server on, and its the only one so people dont get confused or bored etc.

Hi,Zomby war is going to be sort of rewritten into more of a 2d story mode type game. I have already created a working engine, with zombies and everything, for it. If you guys want, I can post a concept demo. The real engine actually has a few game levels, and a zomby arena. But I think the concept demo, if you want it, will justhave the zomby arena. OK, I know Ive said this a few times before, but now I really mean it. All the things Im being acused of here are in fact, true. I payed very little attention to a game in its need of attention. I absolutely failed with my beta team. Ive been a complete and utter ass. And Ive been even more of one for even just now realizing it propper. I didnt realize that what I was doing came out as like that to many people, and Im willing to try to fix it. But...I really have to know what I have to fix, in order to fix anything. OK, so heres what I have to say on this whole topic.You all are very, very amusing. Especially arabic2000. I really enjoyed watching this topic, lots. Awesome stuff. Keep it up. This is great. Because anything said here wont change my opinion on if its payed or not, maybe a few suggestions here and there, but, nah, its staying payed now. And to be honest, I dont care how many players I have because that just goes to show exactly how many people really enjoy the game, and not log in just to be logged in.

Yes, there will be more features added to both the free and premium versions. Price lowering could be an option, but preorders were already set and done. If enough want the price drop, itll happen. But like I said before, free is not happening.

No need to use 2.6, crashmaster, because 3.0 is the same thing but just more payed features. Look, I dont get why all of you seem to be against just 1 little thing I do. Strange concept. Instead of telling me why you shouldnt, buy it, tell me what you want, to see, and dont tell me, Oh yeah just add more things. Like what. Jump off a cliff and die option? Anyway, I can offer a few maps to allow you to test what the premium events feature has to offer, and like I said before, more features will come, if you give ideas.

Well, I started working on this a few days ago, and I have come to a decision. I am going to allow preorders for this 2dp premium. Hey hey hey hey! I never said I was not going to release a new beta, did I? No! Never in this world did I say that. I just said that I was either going to stop development, take down the server, or just rewrite it from scratch. And you call that lousy? Actually wanting to fix my bugs or remove it because its not good? Because I actually care about what people think of my games and want to change that? By fixing, bugs? And, oh, btw, do you expect me to release betas every 1 microsecond just because youre not happy with what you got? I have school, homework, and other things dealing with on top of this game, so its not my top priority, though I do keep tabs on it, and am trying to fix bugs. So, would you rather I: A. fix 1 bug, release a beta, fix another bug, release a beta, and so on, or, fix as many bugs as I can, release a beta, and everyones happy. Some thanks I get for just taking a tiny microbreak. Hmm, I might consider stopping development just becaus
 e of that. Goes to show how ungreatful some people can be just for 1 little teeny tiney bug thats being worked on but cant be fixed fast enough, hmm.Im done raving for now.

OK, this game has been released as abandonware. And its not because of anything you all said, its because I am tired of trying to say that I can fix these bugs when in truth I actually cant. And I also want to have time for other projects anyway. So, you can download the client and server programs in the up_release.zip package. Have fun.
