Storywise, I don't think the audiogames community has something quite like this. Now the game has cooking and crafting, I could imagine spending hours with this one. @Assault: I think, if you can find a powerful weapon at the blacksmith, you may have to make one. The strongest weapon the smith has does 12 damage. All of the enemies sound as if they're wearing armor when you strike, including werewolves and the like which I assume wouldn't be armored. The sound of a blow striking flesh would be more appropriate for unarmored enemies. Still, this isn't a game breaker; feel free to make or not make changes to this. I'll have to go back and check if the vampire hunter also sounds as if he's armored. I think you mentioned in a previous thread that he is only lightly armored. Combat is now both challenging and enjoyable now, and the dragon is no joke. Boss fights should be both tough and interesting, though I haven't gotten that far yet. I wish this game had voice acting, but money is probably the limit here. I think this could be the start of another series, if you're willing to write more games. While I'm still more of a fan of first person navigation, the immersion provided by the soundscape is great, though the weapon sounds aren't as realistic as I might like. I'll keep playing with this, and provide more feedback. Awesome job, and glad to see that you've taken everyone's suggestions and implemented those that you could. I run the game with NVDA Translate and ClipReader. I'm not sure if that's the reason that all dialog outside of the tutorial reads for me, but it doesn't hurt. As an aside, Dreamland and its relative Lyxl can be run with latest version of Locale Emulator so that NPC and, in Lyxl's case, most of the story can be read via screenreader. When I ran the demo, those and the Visual Studio components were all I needed to play. I press O to focus on a rat ahead, press j to target then press the skill key for the magical spark. What happens is I get too close to the rats and end up dying. The best strategy seems to be to kill from a distance, but either my character or the rats won't oblige. What am I doing wrong? I really enjoyed the demo, and it looks like the game is a big improvement over the demo version. Just not sure how to go about purchasing since I have no credit card or similar pay method at the moment. We need more rpgs, so I'm glad to see a new one, and action rpgs aren't that common here. An English translation would be fantastic but is definitely not a deciding factor in purchasing this game. I hope the persistent bug in games of this type from China, where the game won't run on international versions of Windows 10, got fixed somehow. Here are my thoughts.It seems like the story is the core of games of this type, so the fact that the story is interesting is a plus. Personally, this is a case where I would like to be able to use my screen reader for narration, but I don't know difficult that would be on the Mac platform, on which I'm playing. On Windows SAPI5 support could be implemented, though. I wish these games had voice acting for characters, to give a more cinematic feel. The narration is a bit improved over the Blind Quest games though. The sounds are also pretty good. I'm not a fan of the point and click style, and reactive combat has lost whatever appeal it had forblind players. The kinds of sounds I would personally use for trees and such wouldn't be particularly intrusive; think of the wind in the trees on an autumn day with a light breeze, something like that. Alternatively, a battle state could be enabled where all sounds but the relevant ones are faded into the background; I don't know if any games do this or if it is even possible. I'm probably just speculating wildly at this point. But the point about a crowded and cluttered soundscape is definitely something to consider. I run games from in in compatibility mode as a matter of course now. The incompatibility with Windows 10 should be looked into; it seems rather strange since most things that run in Windows Seven will run in Windows 10 without undue interference. If that doesn't work, install all missing VIsual studio libraries you might be missing. One or both of these should fix the problem. Incidentally, I managed to get screen reader mode enabled, although I had to work with the Chinese simplified SAPI voice to get the menus to read enough so I could understand what I was doing. For those asking for English translations, including yours truly, we have to remember that the developers probably aren't English speakers. If so, when it's asking for your info, ignore that and press control and J to go to the downloads tab. Make sure that windows defnder isn''t blocking the download. Generally it will pop up a prompter that will allow you to keep or delete the ongoing download. Click on Keep anyway and the download should complete. I found a way to read moves; you use the screen read key to read the move description; it doesnt read automatically. Pressing the A key on a move just moves it around. I especially liked the atmosphere established with the ads; it gave the world a sense of realism. I'll admit I was a bit confused by the combat system; you dodge bullets or punches but don't deliver any of your own. If you could dodge blows and deliver them too that would improve the game. As for putting the Mac release on the app store, I say go for it. The Mac app store is sadly lacking in audiogames of any kind, and it would definitely make purchasing the game easier. However,if you ask around someone might be willing to purchase the game for you; in fact, if I don't have funds on hand at the game launch that's just what I'm going to do myself. But asking for a game of this quality to be free at launch comes across as entitled and selfish, even if, more than likely, you had no intention whatsoever of sounding that way. For example, three weeks of training and one week of rest. If you plan to compete or go on search with a monster, give it a week of rest beforehand. Personally, I rest my monster when I get an indication that so and so is fine; I try not to go to the looks fine stage; that for me generally means that the monster is getting stressed as well as tired. What this game could use is a comprehensive breeder guide for different monster types and personalities. The guide would include training tips for monsters of different personalities. The whole point of fusion is to get stronger monsters; if both of the parents are old and fully trained, then you will get stronger monsters. If you have burning feathers or bear claws, use them. If you can win competitions with them, compete until they reach lasty stage, make sure relationship is at 100 percent, one body, and give each one a megaproton or three to max out stats. then combine in whichever order you like. That's the one time in the game where I wish there was some sort of quick travel option to get to faraway search points and still make it back to base camp in time. what you want to do is blend two secon generation monsters to get a third generation; fourth generation monsters would probably be the strongest of all but I've never had the patience to make one. The moonstone is obtainable that way, but you need at least an S-rank monster to find those rare items. As I understand it, golden herbs are even better than shining herbs, but they're only obtainable on search. And maybe, possibly, from the death of a monster that was created with a golden seed. I have one of those; I'll use it in fusion on a second or third gen monster and see what happens. If you can keep a pure dragon on the farm you should be able to unlock dragon jewels. Ryon's cries are highly modified lion roars I think. Personally, I would rather they were unmodified lion sounds, bt don't actually hate them; I simply don't notice them that much. Dragon could also use a more dragonish sound in my opinion. I like Sierra's sound though; mine seems to enjoy the hell out of kickin; ass and takin' names. Fusing a pure dragon with another pure monster will naturally get you a combined dragon.other monster. The red dragon is my favorite.
