Re: gmail account breached I recomend you use an two factor authentification. E. g. when logging in, google will send code or call a code to your phone. Everi program will have its own privileges. and you can login your home computer permanently so you dont need reenter code and password everitime. The main idea behind this is that somebody should have your password, but they dont have your phone. Re: gmail account breached Hi,I actually read on CNet that there was a virus called Poney. Its a funny name but the actual virus wasnt. Basically, what it did was it logged all the passwords you entered and sent them to a database. The database contains currently over two million passwords. Re: gmail account breached Strongly suspect its because your email/password information was in some database that got leaked due to security breaches - those are happening so often these days that it hardly surprises me anymore. Also never ever use the same password on multiple sites and preferably one that is randomly generated. Re: gmail account breached Its not a breach of google itself, more likely some other service you used got breached that had information on your email and password (if you reuse passwords across multiple sites).
