I will admit, I do not check the sticky topic, this is because I usually can only contribute to buying someone a game very occasionally, or if I particularly want to support a developer, as I did when I contributed to the Manamon 2 give away, or when I bought someone a copy of your adventure. That being said, the sticky topic is there for a reason, since before it people were getting irritated at the amount of so called "begging" topics on the forum. I would suggest myself, that the sticky topic stay as is, but now and again, perhaps at holidays someone could post a reminder of its existence, so that anyone who might be able to contribute something, is more likely to be able to do so.Oh and Jaidon, I have sent you a pm. Re: Do you read the purchase topic? @11 there are some points I'd like to make though, note I'm not for cracking games in any way, noar do I want to encourage such activities, but there are reasons why someone would ask for a game other than lazyness or lack of funds.First, most countries and online sellers don't allow online transactions from people who are underaged. It's a ridiculous clause in my opinion since back when game cartridges were a thing any kid could go down to the store with his allowance and buy it, but now they can't buy games online, where they are sold most of the time.Second, some countries simply don't allow Pay Pal, and there's a lot of people here who come from such places. This leaves them unable to buy most audio games since no one does direct credit card or bank transfers.Finally, fosilized parents. There's a huge variety here, there's those parents who are stuck in the dinosaur age and either don't know how to set up and use Pay Pal, or those who don't trust anything that has the word "online" or "computer" in it. Probably a bit of a rarity these days but I wouldn't be surprised if they were still around.I'm not saying that begging for games too much is ok, or that they are a need. They most certainly are not, but before you go around judging those who ask for games, try to think weather they have reasons other than "I'm piss poor and too lazy to work." It wouldn't hurt to try a bit of empathizing here either, I had the very same problem when I was a kid. there were all these cool games out there that everyone was playing and talking about, and it seemed I was the only one who couldn't do any more than listen to Raul's playthroughs of these games. No, you don't need games to survive, but it does feel pretty shit when everyone's playing what you can't play. I'd expect the situation is a bit magnified these days since back then, you could count the number of payed games that were actually good on your hands and tows if you put them together and now there's so many more around. Asking for someone to buy you a game is fine, but when you start a whole new topic asking why you haven't received an answer, you are crossing the line from asking to begging. A game is not necessary for your survival. I recommend just waiting, even if it takes 6 months. Your other option would be to ask a family member to buy the game for you at a birthday or Christmas.You also have another option, save your money and buy the game yourself. I skim through it from time to time.I think it's pretty natural to start ignoring sticky topics after a while, which is part of why I don't think it has the potential to do as well as it could.Most of us aren't super well to do either and can't afford to be constantly giving stuff away.Some people are doing fundraisers and other kinds of giveaways. I know it's hard but your best bet is probably to wait for one of those to come up.Maybe this summer I'll try my hand at running another little fundraiser like I did for Manamon II in November, but for any audio game this time.
