Re: fun party games over zoom? @Shinobi That's putting it a bit too nicely. The issue still remains that menus aren't narrated, though you probably meant that room codes are now spoken. Also, some games are just visual by nature, and would require too much tweaking to make it accessible for as many people as possible.@matt1211, You're right. Jack Attack was accessible from 5 and up, as I think it was the first to use the web interface. Re: fun party games over zoom? How is the 7th one fully accessible? I've bought 1-5 for xbox because it was on sale, nad wsa gonna suggest the steam version of that as a possible option. I know with the first one I can use OCR to get the codes for people (most of the time) and they can play.I think in the 6th? one the jack attack in you don't know jack also became playable for us. Also, Jackbox party pack 7 is fully accessible with screen readers. I do need to get the family into QC though, might be something to entertain ourselves with over christmas, perhaps. Re: fun party games over zoom? Hmm, this is a gap that really needs filling. The fact we can't even play basic card games in an interface good for sighted people is kind of disappointing. QC is probably the best you'll get, though the interface is only textual, and the web version probably looks pretty bad. The Windows version will at least offer you some color customisation for different parts and will probably generally look nicer. There are however real grids if you play Chess, Battleship or connect 4, but that's it. OnToys actually offers the best graphycs as far as I know, but it has no web version, only a portable client. Hopefully one day, we'll get a mainstream type of client that's accessible. Imagine having thousands of players for a game instead of waiting for a few friends to come online in order to get a more complex game going on QC. If you are willing to deal with the fact that qcgc was made for the blind, I mean, it's not like sighted people can't play it and the interface isn't totally unuseable for them.
