Tried JAWS 17, NVDA, and even Narrator! If a wireless keyboard comes with its own dongle its often but not always using its own radio system, your old wireless keyboard is probably one of these not a bluetooth one so thats why it may not be recognised as a bluetooth device.Are you pressing the Fn key instead of control? Some keyboards have the Fn key left of control and some to the right. Holding Fn while pressing the function keys usually swaps between them acting as volume up/down/whatever and the actual numbered F key as well.Hope some of this helps. I dont get this at all. I like this keyboard but dont understand what is breaking on it, or what Im doing wrong. I have a bluetooth issue. Hi.Ive just got myself a apple whireless keyboard for my windows machine. Which works great, is fast, small and light.But... NVDA control plus down arrow doesnt work at all.On my old bluetooth keyboard with a usb dongle thing, you plug in, it doesnt work now either. But I used insert nvda pluss down arrow to change speech so never realised it until I had to use my apple keyboard.Ive tried pairing again, no luck. Ive tried turning on and off the keyboard, same thing. I dont know what to do to get it working. Its a small thing which I can use my laptop for but it would be nice if it worked.two more questions; 1. why is it my usb tower thing for the older bluetooth isnt recognized as a bluetooth device? it works okay. Its very laggy thats why I got this keyboard. and 2. how do you do a context menu key, I forgot the name of it. Its the right click on mice that we use a lot as blind peop le. Well i do.Oh and is there a way I can change my function keys on this keyboard, so play pause and so on, could become function keys? like f10? Hi.I would say its the battery but well, everyhthing eelse is working fine.Ive just been reading that apple is kind of crappy when it comes to drivers and things you need for making your keyboard work on windows with bootcamp.Thing is, ive tried pressing my volume up and down keys on the mac laptop keyboard and they arent even working now. I dont understand this at all.I can still use this keyboard and am not getting it sent back. i payed 60 pounds for this thing and expect it to work and it does about 9times out of 10. Plus if I sent it back my perrants would tell me off lol. Youre always buying things and not being careful of what youre buying. They dont understand tech at all but I can kind of see there point. I really thought this would work out of the box with no problems though.
