So, obviously it did download, even if the steam interface is the usual complete piece of utter garbage, and it took about fifty times longer to do so than it would if I'd just been able to download the game normally. Still, at least I can now just get on with playing the game and continue to circumvent the Steam client as much as humanly possible, which is by far the best way I've found to deal with the stupid thing . The steam desktop client doesn't tell me anything. I tried Ocr, and incremental adventures is listed along with other games, but hitting enter on it does nothing. I also tried the steam button in the notifications area, but again no good. At this point I don't even know whether the game has downloaded or not, even though Steam lists it, since when I go to the Steam website and hit "play game" exactly the same stuff happens, and nothing new has appeared in the steamaps folders, the way it did when I downloaded slay the spire. wow! I'd almost forgotten just how profoundly stupid, inaccessible and badly designed Steam is, and how much trying to actually get some use out of the thing pissed me off! Maybe I was better on Congrigate after all. I go to the link in the first post, log in to the Steam website, and hit the "play game", link on the Steam page for incremental adventures. Then something turns up further down asking me if steam is installed, which it is. I hit the link that says "yes steam is installed", and a notification pops up in chrome asking me if I want to open steam bootstrapper. I do this and a window opens saying incremental adventures with some download speeds mentioned plus the usual confused mess of text fragments I get from steam. So I assume the game is downloading and just leave that window, as I did when downloading Slay the spire and sequence storm. But however long I wait, no game! Nothing in program files/steamaps/common files/downloading. I am waiting around now and have waited a while (like over an hour), but I'm not sure whether anything is working or not.is there something else I need to do to get the game to download? You then decide to reset at layer 3 for 1000 points. Normally, layers 1 and 2 would reset to 0, and all stat upgrades would also reset. With improved reset, both lower layers would instead reset to 1000 points instead of 0. Additionally, any autobuyers you've enabled on layer 1 or 2 would trigger, buying as many stat point upgrades on each layer as the 1000 points allow. By default, autobuyers trigger an auto-prestige when your heroes respawn, and the minimal autobuy setting can be met with the currently available prestige points. There's also an option to enable autobuyers on manual prestiges. Health and Dammage only gets ranger, adding armor gets warrior, and adding healing gets paladin. Health, dammage and healing gets cleric. @14 check the options tab. There might be something to change the notation in there.
