Noe the [pet mentioned is not a symbolist , but a german romantic figure.Poetry is what is needed I am not sure really how to say it. Again I move more and more to esthetics and and subjectivity in the hopes that I to will find my I, the one who is not turning traider on me.remember this however"one doesn't make a difference through opposiotion, but rather through suspension" Wing of eternity.This is to say that if you suspend things not let them drawn but if yo try to go separated from them and impplicity from yourself. This is not idleness , but this is more a state that few can come to cakked doesn't matter how it's called really, terminology is just confusing, and it claters more, just as ideas fog the brain to hell. Don't afferm or negate, don't state a positive or a negative abut suspend. I want to find that too.To much now I should be geting to what I am doing, that is I am continnuing my music interestss soundtrack/ classical. Indeed why did that topic die, let's revive it!What do you think of the wagnerian music? Re: Monthly chat January 2021 @Gcw, sorry to hear that, hope your grandma can manage to have a peaceful end to her life.Indeed, we're sort of thinking the same thing for my father in law at the moment, accept that my lady can't even find out how he's doing since the hospital refuse to give her information as she's in another country. My lady has also just gone to the doctor this morning for being generally ill, something we hope can be fixed. Yee gods, since she recovered from her own cancer this is all getting a bit much. All in all 2021 is pretty cruddy, though on the plus side, I am going to start rhythm of war soon, which will be good. It's super aggressive and as she's been in the hospital since Monday and undergone two CT scans and an ultrasound, the doctor can see growth from one scan to the next. She's got 3 months, tops. I mean, we were told that it would take at least 16 months for one to materialise, plus the six months needed for testing and so on. I've been told that the technology was previously in development hence why we had suc h quick development time, not to mention the US and German governments giving huge grants to medical companies for tem to quickly develop it. Some people were given something in the name of vaccine trial, many of them fell ill, and one of them died, and none of them given official papers and such for consenting.The same thing happened ten years ago from what I have heard for some drug trials.Also my laptop is still not letting me play games. honestly, if I didn't needed someone's help to go to the shop, the problem would have been fixed by now. Now, not only is my uncle still in hospital, but my father in law has covid and apparently is on a ventilator. Admitedly, he's not a well man as it is so this isn't surprising, but it's worrying given he's been living with my wife's family full time who almost certainly now have it. Then yesterday I phone my dad to find one of his friends suddenly died from Covid, oh and just to make thing even more fun, my lady is not well again, though we're hoping it's just a long term infection and nothing serious. Other than that not much to report besides playing Erion and cosmic rage and trying to do some writing, although I have no idea what to do with said writing given that magazine editors are all stupid evil power mad idiots with the literary appreciation of a teaspoon, and I know for a fact I'm not good enough at online self promotion to make self publishing work. It was a bit difficult for us a bit, but then june came and it finished.On summer, nothing special happend, just watching some films, and reading.Autumn came, but again online studys! Well We are studying with messenger, so you can imagine what it feels for us, too laggy internet, noisy children, some bugs on messenger etc and etc.Aa, I finally got a new computer, I'm loving it.well, our school, ahem i meant online studies will start on like 20th january. Ah yes, the glorious education system of this country that was inherited from your country's education system.I got a new PC, yesterday, and I'm loving it. Its seriously a step above my past one, and I only spent 300 USD on it. Christmas was nice, I spent most of it eating blackcake, which Isn't racist, at all. I'm also excited cuz we're going to start coding in school come Tuesday, but in Pascal sadly. But hey, its coding in school still, right? And lastly, this year I'm suposed to pick my field of study for the next 4 years, so that's interesting. I'll have to keep my grades up in order to be chosen to my class of choice, because its a merit system. For example, if you pick sciences, your marks in science and math must be high, like 9-0 and up, else you risk having someone else with a higher score boot you further down the list. I hope everyone is good, its January, which is the only time of year when its fuckin cold in this place, it was like 18C last night, and 15, yeah, 15, the night before. Re: Monthly chat January 2021 I admit seeing this topic yesterday was a bit nutty, since for me it turned up at about five PM in the afternoon a good 7 hours before the new year started. I don't know what time it was for Manamon player when he started the topic, but I'll admit it was a bit weird. Either way, since the new year is now here in most parts of the world, it probably doesn't matter. As I said in the 2020 topic, the only really good thing to be said for last year is that at least my lady's radio therapy worked and she apparently no longer has cancer. As she has another scan on Sunday, hopefully this will continue to be true.Other than that, everything was really quite crappy, with none of my efforts at publishing working out since the arseholeness of publishers is only matched by the arseholeness of publishing agentts.I have looked into self-publishing, but unless you want to basically be just one in several grillion entries on an amazon page, you need to be waaay better at self-promotion and online presence than I happen to be, plus, if you self-publish, unless you are either very very lucky or very very rich, you can kiss real publishing goodbye. I did hope having a phd would sort of help convince people that I, mmm, had some ability to write, but obviously not. So basically, at the moment the topic of what I'm going to actually do with my life is not a good one. Sadly, 2021 did not get off to a great start, with my mum's 15 year old retired guide dog dying, then my uncle (my mum's elder brother), falling down a flight of stairs, breaking multiple ribs and ending up in intensive care. combine this with the fact that most of the UK has gone into strictest tear lockdown, although since my lady and I have been pretty strict about isolating anyway, this doesn't really mean much difference to us on a practical level, and well the new year isn't looking great, but hopefully will improve. Other than that, not too much to report over all unfortunately, I've been playing a lot of Erion and zombies run, , and going through some more recent Doctor who releases from big finish, which have ranged from very cruddy to very good. I am a wee bit disappointed though, since for the past few years, they've produced a christmas collection, which have always been fun, but for this year, they're trying more of a collection of interconnected incidents spread over multiple doctors with an ongoing plot, which sadly doesn't work quite as well, or at least not so far. then again, I am introducing my lady to the joys of buffy the vampire slayer, now we've found audio described versions, which is proving pretty fantastic, although unfortunately, since I was watching it on dvd at the time I met her and never supposed I'd get an audio described version, I've already inadvertently told her a lot of the spoilers .So that's where I am at the moment. As to new year's resolutions, well I'm not sure at the moment, since it seems to make a resolution, you must actually believe you have some control over your life and can influence what happens in it.
