Anyway, if you want to really have fun with a bot that is actually smart and can answer most questions, follow @brainchatbot on twitter. You don't really have to follow them, but a simple mention should make it mention you back. You can tell its a bot, because it retweets anything with the words artificial intelligence. Kind of cool if you ask me. There are also sort of easy GUI interfaces to creating twitter bots and if you know a bit of python, you can do the same. Taking back that about python, it doesn't matter the language really, as long as you are creative. Then I just pressed applications again, and selected "copy selection". I saw this over the course of several exchanges where I first observed that the robot was using punctuation incorrectly. Then, I caught the robot capitalising more than the first letter of a sentence--a clear human error. I drew attention to this both times, and finally the robot admitted that it was not in fact "programmed"--it had a human brain, albeit a slightly strange one. Of course, I cannot guarantee this, but I doubt that there is much artificial intelligence involved. Their use has mostly been adding unofficial languages, but they can be used to customize Skype's UI in any way you like. So instead of a "my profile picture" button, you can have a "hey, I look like this!" button instead.
