Re: NVDA Voices
Re: NVDA Voices @Family mario, I believe the acapella voices are the ones which are used on the Victor reader, Graham and Rachel. Those aren't bad, but I find the intonation makes them always sound a bit stoned . Then again I freely admit Realspeak daniel has been my goto voice of choice for quite a while now, not the least because he has roughly the same English accent that I do which makes creating naturalistic typing easier, though I have experimented with other voices. the only time I don't use Daniel is the Iphone, since for the last few versions his voice has just sounded wonky, then again I really rather like Oliver. Re: NVDA Voices
Re: NVDA Voices Datajake has a lot of ad-ons on his site, grossgang.com. One of them is Eloquence which has no delay and speaks fast, if that is what you want. There are also a couple of Vocalizer voices.Best regardsT-m URL: https://forum.audiogames.net/post/408373/#p408373 -- Audiogames-reflector mailing list Audiogames-reflector@sabahattin-gucukoglu.com https://sabahattin-gucukoglu.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/audiogames-reflector

Re: NVDA Voices
Re: NVDA Voices Hi.@Dark The Vocalizer voices are some pretty good voices indeed. Another great option is the Acapela text-to-speech voices, found at http://www.acapela-nvda.com/ URL: https://forum.audiogames.net/post/408237/#p408237 -- Audiogames-reflector mailing list Audiogames-reflector@sabahattin-gucukoglu.com https://sabahattin-gucukoglu.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/audiogames-reflector
Re: NVDA Voices
Re: NVDA Voices If you go to http://accessibilitycentral.net/NVDA%20addons.html there is a specific section on voices. I'm afraid though when I experimented with a lot of those on that site I found the same thing, either the better voices like Narrator or Sapi came with a delay, or the voices sounded pretty horrible, so in the end I just paid the money to use the vocaliser addon with the realspeak voices instead. Still, hope you find something you can work with. Re: new NVDA voices!
Re: new NVDA voices! You wanna know what would be really cool is to have a multivoice reading things to you with NVDA. So you could have a treo voice to use as an AddOn with NVDA for example. And we need to make a voice changer for NVDA. Similar to the speech and sounds manager for Jaws that the user could customize different voices for different attributes of text and what not.
